Helps Us To Honor Beloved schnauzer, cody
Value for money:We have owned two Schnauzer Dogs over 33 years. And this little guy looks just like our beloved Cody!! He was almost 18 when he died, and we miss him every day. What a beautiful way to honor his memory. We are a handicapped couple, and I hate to admit it, but we don’t have the hand use to put this model together. That is where a friend of ours came in. Since we couldn’t build him we asked a friend who loves building these if she would do it. She said that it would take about 7 hours give or take. As promised, they completed it over a weekend. This would have been difficult, if not impossible for us to do. So,. we wanted to take the time to say THANK YOU NICOLE and your boyfriend for taking the task on. The pieces are small. They interlock, making this little guy stable. Nicole, who builds these, says it really isn’t that hard to do.We will always look at this model and think of our beloved Cody Bear! So, as stated, if you have the time and the patience and the dexterity, this 7,100 piece bad boy may be for you. We love him! We show him off to everyone.Scott and Michelle Edwards.

It’s worth it.
Super cool. But please note if you complete the kit at one sitting your fingertips will be very sore but worth it.

Sooo fun!
I loved putting this little corgi together. The instructions were easier to follow than most of the micro building blocks and I love the way the pieces slide together to keep it stable.

Fun Build and Looks Just Like My Schnauzer
i had a lot of fun building this Schnauzer Dog Building Blocks Set by AHZILEI. Why? Because I have a miniature Schnauzer that looks just like it! I’m familiar with these types of blocks, as I had done one similar but those blocks were micro and very difficult to work with. This kit’s blocks were much larger and much more “doable” for my large hands.7,100 pieces can be quite overwhelming but it really isn’t once you get into it. i really love the “layering” of these blocks as opposed to the traditional building blocks. To me, they give much more of an “alive” look, a 3D look that traditional block builds don’t in a way.I love how simple this build is: two bags, only three pieces (single, double, triple), and four different colors (grey, white, black, and pink). One bag contains all the triple pieces (white and grey) and the other contains the single and double pieces (white, grey, black, and pink). With other traditional block builds, I’m used to having a large book that is the instruction manual. This came with a single sheet, a poster if you will that was front and back. At first I thought it was a mistake but after reviewing it, there are only 20 steps to completing this Schnauzer. All the steps were laid out great and you knew exactly what you needed to do for each step. Each step starts from the bottom up (instead of top to bottom), so be sure to follow each layer closely. I will say, I caught myself starting on one layer but then somehow finishing the piece with the layer that was above it. Catching that before putting the layers together was very helpful. All pieces slid right into each other with ease; on occasion, there might be a few pieces that didn’t go in smoothly but that was probably due to me going too fast. Please note: if you’ve made a mistake and try to get the pieces off, sometimes they will simply not budge no matter how much force you use. I found this the hard way and wanted to start over on a section but couldn’t get the blocks from one another and wound up breaking one into small pieces. I was worried that there wouldn’t be plenty of extra blocks, but I can assure you, there are plenty of extras so no need to worry about that.I worked on this over the course of three or four days maybe two to three hours at a time. I’m guessing the total time was six to seven hours total but I wasn’t rushing and taking my time. Remember, this bad boy’s 7,100 pieces. This was a lot of fun and would recommend it to any building block fan out there who hasn’t tried these type of blocks and the layering technique.

Not a fan
It’s a cool idea. Would be very cute. But the instructions are not easy to follow. The pieces are hard to get together. If it came with a sort of base plate or something that would probably help.

Challenging build with a lot of pieces but well worth it!
Our family absolutely LOVES all things Lego (and all similar sets) because they are both fun AND challenging. This set DEFINITELY fits the bill on challenging! It is, by far, the biggest set that we have ever worked on. 7,100 pieces!!!!!!The Schnauzer design immediately grabbed my attention because my grandparents always had Schnauzers when I was little. This definitely reminded me of them and brought back some happy memories as that was well over 35 years ago.I thought this was going to be a nearly impossible build but surprisingly, it wasn’t. It is still a challenge, don’t get me wrong, LOL! There are A LOT of pieces and once locked into place, they are very difficult to break apart again. I did like that the pieces fit together easily and didn’t require a lot of force. The little hammer really comes in handy for getting everything to lay perfectly flat so the next layer goes on smoothly. I will definitely be using it for other builds in the future! It really helps prevent the little “cracks”/spaces in between bricks. The finished build is ADORABLE. The 3D builds like this are so much more lifelike than the traditional builds.Since this is such a huge build with pieces that are mainly only two colors (gray and white), younger kids may lose interest in it. For older builders, I think it is a fun and challenging project!
