My cat had an ingrown claw into her toe pad. We needed trimmers that would be thin, sharp, and have enough of a curve that we could safely work around the claw without harming her toe pad. After looking at many, many other options, I went with these. They worked really well! They are very sharp and easy to use. They don’t have a spring or anything, but I feel this actually gives you more control for those delicate situations.

Not as flimsy as they appear
I was skeptical when I ordered these clippers. But after purchasing many types of clippers, I was willing to try. I thought I would be only using them on my cats, because they seem so light and flimsy. But they are very sharp. I have a dog with dew claws that curl into almost a circle. They are very difficult to get other clippers aroung the claw without pinching their toes. I was amazed they clipped the thick nail with ease and my dog never even flinched. I hope they continue to stay sharp. I’m very impressed.
