I cut and attached this to an old cabinet that we transformed into a cat station. It sticks wonderfully. However the cats avoid climbing it now. Go figure!

Perfect for repairing cat furniture
I have several pieces of cat furniture which are in dire need of repair. The most wrecked piece is a scratching ramp where the old carpeting was shredded. I ordered this carpeting repair kit to fix everything. Although I was initially disappointed to see the carpeting is rather thin, it did make cutting it to size extremely easy (I just used a single edge razor). It may not hold up to intensive scratching, but that remains to be seen. I bought a similar product at a home improvement store to cover shelves in my cat cages and they’re still intact (but not used primarily for scratching) for more than a year. Completing this cat furniture repair kit was a roll of very thin, very sticky double sided tape to secure the carpeting, and a cute yarn ball toy. The tape worked really really well on the ramp and so far is holding up to several cats using the heck out of it as a scratcher. I will definitely buy this kit again when I have to make more repairs.

I’ve used this for replacing the parts of the cat tree that my kitten has torn up. It has worked great so far. It’s easy to cut, and has held up well!

Ordered this to apply to shelves I’ve installed as cat perches. My cat was having a hard time jumping from perch to perch, and was sliding a lot. Once I put this carpet mat onto the shelves, she’s had zero difficulty in navigating the shelves, and is enjoying the view from the top! Highly Recommend. The fabric is easy to cut, and the included tape is effective.
