The Bristles are very stiff and brush without water is heavy so you have to be very careful not to harm your animals. Wouldn’t let a child use it on my cat

My cat loves this. Definitely helped with the dander, she doesn’t have it anymore. Her shedding is no more. It is cold steam. And its very easy to use. It makes a light hissing sound but it doesn’t bother my cat.
