    Interesting interactive toy with motion/sound
The toy works, but it does not come with instruction so you need to figure out how it operates on your own. The battery is located in the fish gut, open and charge, then turn the tiny switch to ON mode, close the stitches. Give the fish a pat on the back, the fish will start flapping and singing. It will turn motionless after a brief time, then pat it again to activate motion/sound. I gave this to my cat, but she does not seem to be that interested. To be fair, my cat is not interested in other toys either except for TV.

    entertainment for curious cats
Recently got this flapping fish toy for my cat, as soon as I pulled it out and turned it on, she was immediately intrigued, cautious at first, but that didn’t last long. She’s a senior cat, but the movement was just realistic enough to catch her attention without being too aggressive, and the way it kicks around after being touched keeps her coming back to pounce on it.The added catnip and silvervine is a big plus. I wasn’t sure how much of a difference that would make, but she absolutely went nuts over it. The toy that sparked a full-on wrestling match followed by a good nap. And I love that it’s rechargeable, no fussing with batteries or tossing it out after a few uses. Just plug it in, and it’s good to go again. What’s even better is that it doesn’t just keep her entertained, it gives her some exercise too. I’ve noticed she’s more playful overall since we introduced this into her toy rotation. It’s held up well to some serious kicking and biting, which I wasn’t expecting from something that moves like this.If your cat is curious, energetic, or even in need of stimulation, this toy is a good choice.

    Stopped working after a day
Stopped working the second day. If it starts working again I’ll update my review

My cats weren’t interested in it. But it is a cute toy.
It’s a cute toy and comes with a charging cable. It plays a little song and the fish flaps his little side fins when it is moved or thrown. It doesn’t come with any instructions, but simple to figure out. Plug in the charging cable by opening the bottom of the fish with the Velcro. The light starts out as red, once that is off, it is done charging.I hoped my cats would love this, because they generally enjoy catnip toys, but sadly neither of them were interested in it at all, except for maybe the first minute to see what was making that noise. Thus the lower rating. It’s cute, but for my cats it’s a no go.

    Cute fish toy for cats
Rechargeable, fun fish toy for cats. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because it makes a musical noise which seemed to startle the cats the first few times they played with it. It is touch activated, but I had to keep starting it for them because you need to give it a bit of force to get it started. Aside from that, it is really cute and the cats like it. I like that it is rechargeable so I don’t have to keep replacing the batteries.

    Very nice cat toy
Good quality fun with cat toys. My kitty likes how it flops around the battery lasts a decent amount of time and it’s just a fun little cat toy.

Cute Flappy Fish Toy, – Unfortunately Didn’t Work
The Flappy Fish cat toy is a cute concept, and I was excited to try it for our cat. The expected wagging fins and sound effects seemed like it would be great for older kittens’ keen hunting instincts. We could not find thebuilt-in catnip. The battery was designed to be rechargeable. However, the toy did not work on arrival and did not function, even after charging. It does not provide her entertainment without a functional battery and has not helped her. She will not bite, chew, or play with it as of yet. It’s disappointing because the toy itself is very cute, and I’m sure our cat would have enjoyed it. I hope to see improvements in quality control in the mechanics as its current value is low. The battery mechanics seem quite frail after assessment. However, this toy has a lot of potential if it were built more robustly.

    Cute toy, annoying sounds
My cat likes this flappy fish toy, however I hate the song it plays when it’s flapping. I have a bird toy like this which chirps, and I know there’s no easy fish noise to choose, but a happy little jingle is not what I was expecting at all!
