Helped keep the Christmas tree safe
I purchased this to put under my 5′ Christmas tree to keep the cats occupied and ignore the tree. I covered it with a tree skirt. The size is great and it mostly worked. They did manage to knock over the tree after about a week (when it only had lights on it, no ornaments), but then it stayed up for several weeks after. The material is really soft. The cats initially played in it quite a bit, but less so now (which is typical of anything new they get).

My cat is in love with this
Best money spent. I initially set up in my garage and my cat played for a bit. I put around my Christmas tree and it’s his new fort. He fell asleep playing with the toy ball at the entrance. I may never see my cat again but he’s a big fan. I can’t compare it to any other tunnels but this one is nice. Sturdy yet very soft. My cat rates it 5 stars. Assembly is super easy.

Safety issue
My cats LOVE this tunnel. They would even play hide & seek with each other and our dog! Our older cat used it a little but our kitten used it the most & got the older one more interested. Sadly, it only lasted 6 months. My main concern is safety as the metal wire has busted through and is extremely unsafe for the cats to get injured especially an eye injury. I tried to reinsert it but there’s no way to do it. Thinking of cutting the wire but honestly concerned it will just pop out and it’s not worth the risk. Super sad as it’s just not the same with only 1/2 of the tunnel. For the price I expect it to last much longer. 🙁 I will find a picture when it worked to show how much they loved it. (FYI, kitten wearing a suit post surgery.)

Cat friendly Christmas tree skirt alternative
I purchased this tunnel with the hopes of using it as a Christmas tree skirt alternative so my cats wouldn’t climb the tree. I am very happy with this purchase and it works well for what I intended. Although the tunnel material is not as thick as I would like, the outer furry part is soft and does not shed.
