A perfect, simple cat pedestal
This is exactly what I was looking for, and my cat is in love. I was tired of those complicated cat condos, which always have way more nooks and crannies than my cat cares about. All she really wants is a comfy platform on a stick, and by golly that’s what this is. She will sleep in this thing all day and all night, it’s just perfect. Thanks for saving me from a trip to the hardware store for a fencepost to build one myself.

Yes! Sturdy!
This tall scratcher is incredibly sturdy once fixed to the window. The cats are still unsure about it – mainly bc they were used to their scratcher being in a different location, but I think with time, they’ll use it on their own. They can climb, hunt each other and be rough with it, and it won’t budge. Best of all, no holes in the wall! I love how thick the cylinder is – my big Siberian can comfortably wrap around it.Someone mentioned that they had to return it bc their cat couldn’t get a proper grip at the top or base. My cat had trouble getting from the post to the lounge because he had nowhere for his paw to grip at the top to pull himself up. Easy solution: I measured the amount of space needed to cover the top without blocking the Velcro for the bed cushion, and I placed adhesive cat scratching pad on it and that solved that issue in a second. They actually would probably prefer not to have the cushion there, so I’ll most likely have it off. You can add this on the base too, but I didn’t need to.Highly recommend!

So far, this is a great perch for my “kitten.” The quality seems good and it is definitely secure against the window; sometimes I don’t trust suction cups, but they are large and you can tighten them. No issues there. We only added TWO of the three extensions. The third would be really high and we’ve considered using it, since our little monster LOVES to climb up it and he scratches at it ALOT!!! My one concern-since he is only 7 months old- is that the perch might be too small for him once he’s full grown. For reference, he currently 10.5 lbs in the pictures and growing still.

My active cat loves
My cat is 3 and she loves being active and sunbathing. I put this in a window that gets sun pretty much all day and she hasn’t left it since I put it up. She is also a serial scratcher and the post alleviated her scratching my carpet.

Do not buy
This is so cheap and impossible to put together. The top ledge is plywood and the screws don’t fit in or work. Completely unstable and I had to ditch this. I threw it away.

My cats love this
This thing is great. I have the post set up leaned on a window sill and it feels pretty solid, it’s been there for months at this point and is quite popular both among my cats and with my coworkers during zoom calls. I have two fairly large 20# Mainecoons, they each fit on the top shelf and haven’t toppled it during their zoomies or epic wrestling matches.

Not Very Strong
This is an attractive stand but kinda flimsy and made of cheap pressed wood. My cat knocked it over and it cracked immediately. 😾

Get this! My 18lb kitty loves it! He doesn’t climb up it, he uses another tower and jumps to the top of it, but he does scratch the bottom which is why I bought it. Very sturdy! Easy to assemble!
