It’s a little hard to work because it sticks so well to itself
I review products for the Amazon Vine program and I received this product to review.It’s always useful to have something to help hold your cat when you need to do something like give a pill, administer a treatment, or cut their nails. I was anxious to try this blanket to see how well it works.One of our cats was newly diagnosed with asthma and he needed to have his first nebulizer treatment yesterday. It is a very scary treatment for any animal. We were hopeful to be able to use this blanket to secure him. Unfortunately, he was immediately terrified of the blanket and ultimately, we never got it around him. You have to be able to work quickly, and unfortunately, this blanket quickly sticks to itself and is easy to get jumbled up before you can get it wrapped around the cat.Today, we decided to try it one our smaller cats, although we were able to wrap her up very easily with it, she was immediately terrified and she urinated all over herself because she was so scared. Ultimately we had a wrap around her for about 30 seconds. Now, we will be testing on how well this holds up to being washed. I don’t think it can go in the dryer.I think the pattern on it is very juvenile and I would much prefer it with more of a cat or dog oriented pattern. I’ve had a similar product that didn’t seem so difficult to work with and I’m not sure if it is my inexperience whether this product is different and just too sticky.I’m going to give this three stars because of the issues I had with the product. It is reasonably priced, and some people may find this very easy to work with. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.
