THIS SLING IS TOP QUALITY AND WORKS!!
THIS IS THE JAM!! Top quality everything! And it worked beautifully.I bought my 12# kitty this item in medium. It fit him perfectly but I will say that if your kitty has a big tummy you may want to go up a size. We laid the sling on the floor with the top zipper and neck open then put Temptations treats inside it first. He climbed into the sling to get his treats. I did this so he would associate the sling with something positive. After he’d had several treats and while he was sitting inside the sling we gently closed the neck first and then softly pressed his body down so we could zip it up on top. At that time all the other zippers were zipped closed. I quickly released one front paw and quickly nipped the points off his claws. Then I let his other front leg out and did the same. He struggled just a tiny bit for about 3 seconds and that was it!!! We decided to only cut his front paws the first go-round. I LOVE this sling!

Works Well for a Feline Who Hates to Have Her Nails Trimmed
I have a cat named Annabelle who is a Russian Blue. She has a stocky and muscular build. She is very strong willed and does not like her nails trimmed. We were at odds with this because she needed her nails trimmed fairly often. We tried sitting her in my lap. That did not work. We tried placing her in a hammock type sling. She just wiggled her way out of it. We then tried this Restraint Bag. It is tricky to get her into, but if I hold her on the scruff and have my husband place her legs in the bag, it zips up nicely from the back. We can get her inside of the bag and have a nail technician at the Vet clip her nails quite quickly. We prefer a nail tech because they are used to trimming nails quickly. We hope Annabelle gets rather used to this after a while. However, we do have to give her a mild sedative (prescribed by the Vet) before we bring her to the Vet. This calms her down a little bit. She is still resistant, but not to the degree the first time I we tried this without the sedative. It is the only way we can have her nails trimmed because 1) we do not want her to be uncomfortable with long nails and 2) we do not like our furniture scratched. Her safety and comfort come first. We handle her with care and give her a treat after she gets her nails trimmed.

Seems great however
So, I was excited about this. Nail trimming is a struggle with 2 of my babies and we just cannot get her to let us trim her nails. We have the scratching posts all over. But, she likes to climb me and those nails are killer. So I bought this, a little impulsively because I didn’t think of the most important thing. How in the heck am I supposed to get the cat IN the bag?!Well, I still haven’t figured this out. We have tried several times, getting it zipped and velcro-d without her squirming out is IMPOSSIBLE. I don’t know who in this world that NEEDS the bag can actually successfully get the cat IN the bag. The one time we came really close, she slipped out the head hole while I was adjusting it.So if your cat will let you put them in the bag, I’d assume it’s great. Mine just lay on it now, with untrimmed nails.

The concept is great
I think it would have worked had my cats not been crazy. The concept is great, and it is a very sturdy bag and the value that I paid for it is nice. The size was good and the functionality would have been great had my cats not been so nuts. Overall I think it was easy to use on my smaller cat than my bigger cat.

He Hates It But I Love It!
One of my cats absolutely hates getting his nails clipped to the point that his anxiety causes him to FLIP out (and I mean FLIP). He hates being in the bag but his anxiety is MUCH less than if he wasn’t. The bag keeps him comfortable; it’s not painful at all. This cat bag helps immensely with getting his nails trimmed safely for the both of us.The bag itself is well constructed, lightweight and has a lot of openings for your cat’s limbs. This is great because I have to take out one limb at a time to keep him somewhat calm enough to get the job done. The zipper is strong enough to keep a rolling fidgety cat inside. My boy weighs 9.5 lbs and the size medium is perfect and there is still plenty of space for a larger sized cat. I had the small one when he was a kitten and bought the bigger one as he grew because I like the quality of the bag. This bag gets the job done! I’d recommend it to anyone that has a scaredy cat that hates getting groomed lol

A must have if you have a cat
I’ve never written a product review before – but this kitty restraint bag is heavenly. Our 16 year old cat needed oral antibiotics, twice a day. He’s been healthy his whole life, super sweet and mello guy – but he turned psycho with hulk strength when trying to dose him. Even the first dosage in the vets office – holy cow he went postal. The towel burrito did not fare any better and I did not like grandpa kitty to be so stressed, so I was glad I found this. WHEW! Hands down the best thing since sliced bread. I fully unzip the top of the bag and spread it open. Pick up kitty and as I sit him on top of it, I am able to quickly secure the velcro neck section and THANK YOU for adding a nice patch of velcro along the top, just behind the shoulder area- I’m able to secure that – then give him a moment to chill before attempting to zip the back up. Kitty is fully secure, I don’t have to worry about trying to keep ahold of him and he stopped freaking out like he did with a towel burrito. After his oral medication, I wait a moment, slowly unzip the top, rub his tummy, then slowly un-velcro the neck area – he slowly steps out of the bag, and is not stressed out. We’ve had to do a 2nd round of antibiotics for an additional week and also an added dosage of oral probiotics. With this bag – I’m able to do so without kitty becoming super stressed. Sure, he still absolutely hates syringed meds to his mouth, but once his neck is velcro’d in the bag- he doesn’t even try to leave anymore- slowly lays in the bag, I zip it up and dose him. This bag removed a lot of stress for both kitty and me. Once in the bag, he quickly accepts the situation. The price was crazy cheap and it’s a sturdy product. Very happy that I will have this on hand for future use.

My neighbour is a first-time cat Mum to an 8-month-old brother-sister pair of adolescent kittens, and takes her responsiblity *very* seriously. I was babysitting the boy a few days ago while she took his ailing sister to the vet, and she came home almost in tears. She has to give both of them liquid antibiotics for a week because the girl had a parasitic infection. I’ve lived with cats my whole life and she’s been coming to me for advice and help. I knew from experience she wouldn’t be able to dose two squirmy, stroppy feline teenagers by herself, so I said I’d assist. The first dose was a struggle, albeit successful eventually, but traumatic for kittens and their owner alike. I came home and ordered this restraint bag on Amazon and requested same day delivery. It arrived 10 minutes before I was due to return for their second dose of the day, and the bag made such a difference! They’re not happy about being put into it, one after the other, and it does take two of us, my neighbour keeping the kitten and all its four paws inside (we zipped the leg openings closed) and me zipping up the back closure and securing the neck band. Then she holds the bagged cat in her lap and it only takes me seconds to shoot the vile-tasting medicine down the victim’s throat. This way I become the villain rather than their Mum. We only have two more days to go and have become quite efficient with practice. The kittens are resigned to their fate as soon as they see me come in the door, although the timid boy mews sadly while his more assertive sister gives me the stink-eye. However, the humans haven’t been scratched since the first pre-bag struggle and they’ve had all their medicine. My neighbour now plans to use it to trim their claws. I just wish it came in an XL size that might fit my giant Maine Coon if he ever needed a restraint. He’s pretty mellow, but there’s only so much a self-respecting cat will tolerate.

This cat restraint bag is super useful for grooming and nail cutting. It’s a perfect cat shape, leaving their head very clear so they can keep calm.At the paws it has multiple different zippers.Which means you can make it into the perfect shape for your cat, with either 2 or 4 paws out. When you have the cat inside and hang it onto something with hooks, it makes the cat calm because they’re wrapped. Then they will not struggle anymore and you can easily groom or cut nails. It saves so much time and scratched hands, which is great.

This is a great invention. Takes a little while to get her in it but the neck collar really helps hold her. Still getting use to her flipping around inside so I cant get her back paws sometimes but wonderful product, very well made. Now as for the comfort… you will have to ask the cat. 😆

Loved it. It was so much easier to cut my cat’s nails. She remained calm instead of struggling like I thought she would. Good value and worth the money. Also it is sturdy and strong and won’t easily brake. I think it will last a long time.
