    Keeps my dog’s attention
My girl took to her new stick immediately and hasn’t put it down. She’s a 13 month old pitsky which means she has two aggressive chewing breeds rolled into one. When she was a puppy and teething she started out with Benebone products and as she grew she had toys that were made with some real wood in it, but not 100% wood. I decided to get the XL bone because a lot of times a company’s idea of a particular size tends to be dramatically different than mine. When they say XL they mean XL! When I first opened the package I thought there would be no way she’d be able to carry it around while following every.move that I make like she does with her other toys, but for the size of this coffee Dogwood it’s surprisingly light. This stick keeps her occupied longer than any of the other toys in her bin, and believe me when I say she has A LOT in almost every variation available. Both the pit and the husky breeds are very energetic, curious and need a good bit of stimulation and when you throw the usual puppy antics in the mix I wasn’t going to take any chances!I feel more confident giving her an all natural ‘bone’ to chew on than a wood/nylon blend. I will definitely getting more of these for her and be recommending it to other big breed pet parents (or little breeds that think they’re big breeds because we all know one of those). If a toy can keep my girl’s attention when she hears a food wrapper being opened in the other room (like happened for the first time the other day) it practically speaks for itself in my opinion. I’d say the only complaint that I have is that when she really goes at her stick for a long amount of time there are little pieces of wood on the carpet. Once I saw that this was happening I watch her more closely than I normally do when she’s playing with certain toys so she doesn’t break off a piece and choke.

    Seems like a winner!
I’ve been wanting to try a coffee wood chew to see if it would work for my three large dogs. I ordered the extra large and it is definitely extra large! My 55 pound Labrador couldn’t really get her mouth around it. There are knobby bits and ends to chew, though, so it’s actually a good size for her without posing a risk of her being able to chomp it in half or choke on it. I gave it to her for a long car ride and she chewed on it for about 45 minutes straight. I did not find any splintering or big chunks at the end of the trip, but there were smaller shreds and bits that had come off while she was chewing—quite a lot of them. They were not sharp or splintery. I imagine she also swallowed some of the small pieces, but since coffee wood should be digestible, I’m not too concerned about that. She didn’t vomit afterwards and seems perfectly fine now. What I particularly like about this chew is that it isn’t as hard as most durable chews (like nylon bones, antlers, or natural bone), which should be safer for teeth, but still doesn’t get destroyed or eaten quickly (like a bully stick or yak cheese), and there is no unpleasant odor! On the whole, I am very pleased with this product and will likely buy more of them.

Crazy puppy tore right into it but small pieces were coming off after a day
I’m a little torn about this. On the one hand my neurotic Pomeranian puppy tore right into this and anything that keeps her distracted is great. On the other hand, I saw some shards coming off. I guess I should assume some will come off and that she will chew it down, but I’m not sure how fast that should happen or what effects there will be if she actually eats it as she chews it down.

Good natural option for indoor time.
Since my dogs are always dragging up branches and sticks to chew on, I thought this might be a good option for them when stuck in the house. I got the large, its BIG! I figured if I got it slightly larger than what they needed, they wouldn’t be able to destroy it as quickly. As we all know, some dogs are more destructive chewers than others. So far, so good. The coffee wood bone comes sanded down to a smooth surface, mine didn’t have any protruding knobs, just one big solid piece. At first they didn’t know what to think of it and carried it around for a couple of days. Then I noticed they would sit with it and chew on it for a short time. They are still getting used to it even after a week? It’s one of those chews they probably won’t use every day but will go too when they get bored and need something to do, at least that’s how mine are. I haven’t found any large chunks or shavings off of it so far. Happy with the size and quality but most importantly, my dogs like it and it’s all natural. Will your dog like it? Who knows? Dogs are like little kids! What one dog likes the other will turn their nose up too. Definitely worth a try.

Bark-Worthy Bliss! 🐾 A Chew That Actually Lasts!
I recently decided to try something new and natural for my anxious 75 lb pup who lives to chew—and let me tell you, this coffee wood chew has been a total game-changer! 🐶✨At first, I was skeptical (we’ve been burned before by toys that barely last a day), but I’m SO glad I gave this one a try. It’s been over a week, and not only is it still intact, but my dog keeps going back for more—straight from the toy bin like it’s his favorite treat! 😍🦴What I love most is how tough and natural it is—no weird chemicals, no fake smells, just a durable chew that’s gentle on his teeth and tough enough to outlast most others we’ve tried. It’s the espresso of dog toys: robust, satisfying, and keeps him calm and happy. ☕And let’s not forget—it’s quiet! No obnoxious squeaking or plastic crunching. Just focused, happy chewing during thunderstorms, Zoom calls, or solo time. 🌧️💻If you’re considering this product, add to cart NOW! I’d rate it a tail-wagging 5 out of 5 bones! 🦴🐾 Don’t wait—your dog will thank you (with less destruction and more love)! 💕
