Good chair but still arriving damaged
Good chair, relatively simple assembly, but as many customers noted, it comes damaged due to packaging. My package had already been delayed and I had half of it assembled before finding the tear, so I didn’t exchange it in fear it came with the same or larger issue again. The tear is on the underside of the left armrest. Going to plop a leather repair patch on it and hope the tear doesn’t spread, especially moving the armrest. Otherwise it’s a deep and wide chair, armrests lock at multiple levels, cushion is good. The chair being wider does naturally mean the armrests are also farther apart. So if you’re used to leaning on armrests, it will feel different at first. The wheels are pretty roll-y. Basically just be aware it may need some love (aka repair).

The back is just okay to me, so I added a lumbar pillow. Human: 8/10. Cat: 10/10.Why did you pick this product vs others?:I’ve had my eye on one of those “criss cross” chairs, however, this product set itself apart with the ability to put the arms down. My pets now have space next to me instead of on my desk. Everyone wins!Note: this was wider than I had anticipated. I was hoping that it would go under my desk, even with the arms folded slightly down, but it doesn’t. Not a huge deal, but something to keep in mind if that’s what you’re thinking of. Photo shows my 12”x20” throw pillow for scale.

Disappointing
I thought this would be the perfect chair, I tend to sit crosslegged or with them tucked under me and loved the idea of arms that fold down and give me a place to sprawl when I am at my desk and could have my cat sitting with me. She immediately took a liking to it, so the concept works, but this chair really doesn’t First off, it has damage, it arrived with slices in the pleather from something, not sure it happens in shipping because it was well wrapped and no sharp edges where near where it was sliced, so I assume it happened in production.The chair itself is a mess, once I raised it up it would not go down, nothing I did would make it adjust up or down, I was just stuck with it at maximum height which was not ideal. Then one of the arms stopped working, it wouldn’t lock into place and just flopped around. And then no matter what I did it wouldn’t lean any longer, no amount of adjusting the knob or fussing with the adjusting arm.Sadly it is just not comfortable, the padding is very thin and flimsy, my back ended up very sore sitting in this chair because there is no support anywhere. No matter how good the idea is, and it is very clever, this chair doesn’t work and it is miserably uncomfortable.

Comfy chair, hot material, also damaged on arrival
I find this chair to be rather comfortable, even with extended hours of sitting. The leather is soft and comfortable to the touch, but I find it to be a hot material. Without being over heated myself, I find any skin touching the chair (such as when wearing shorts) is sweaty after 30+ minutes, even when sitting under a fan.Like others have posted about however, the item arrived damaged. There’s a small tear in the leather on the arm/wing. It looks like a design flaw in the chair itself. You can feel two solid pieces of metal that line up with the two small slices in the fabric, and press against the fabric when flexed. My guess is that the internal structure and the shifting during shipping applied too much pressure and ripped the fabric.I’m reducing this by 1 star because, while the tear is minor, it inevitably reduces the lifespan of the chair. For the price, I’m disappointed by this, and despite being easy to assemble, there is no way I am disaassembling it much less getting it into my car or up to a UPS store to exchange it.

If you like to change your sitting position throughout the day, this chair is a great choice. Whether I’m sitting cross-legged, sideways, or with my legs crossed, it’s very comfortable and provides excellent support. It’s sturdy and durable, easy to adjust and clean. I love my new chair!

However, while assembling the chair, I noticed some damage on the bottom, probably caused during shipping. While it didn’t affect functionality, I contacted the seller to let them know. To my surprise, they responded within 12 hours and offered a solution right away. Luckily my experience with this product had gone better than others, none of the cushions or fabrics have been damaged. However, the cover at the bottom came damaged. I expected better due to the amount of lower reviews caused by damages, but it still somehow received a damaged item.Ps. no idea how the lifting mechanism locking system works as it seems to do nothing on mine, might be broken but I have no clue.

Edit: After leaving my review the seller reached out immediately to rectify the issue. I was very impressed with their customer service._______________The chair looks really nice and seems comfortable … however, I didn’t realize until after I had it all put together that there are 4 tears in the material at the bottom of the right arm rest. Over time those will likely fray and become much more noticeable. Super annoyed that I’ll now have to take it all apart and package it up in order to return it. Too bad because it’s a great looking chair.
