Truly Indestructible and Perfect for Big Dogs!
I’ve gone through countless dog beds with my power-chewer, but the Cybarmour Chew Proof Dog Crate Pad is the first one that has actually lived up to its promises. This thing is TOUGH—my dog tried to scratch, bite, and dig at it, and it didn’t even leave a mark!It fits perfectly inside his 42-inch crate (41″x27″), and the limestone color looks sleek and clean. The outdoor-grade fabric is not only chew-resistant, but also water and dirt-repellent, making it ideal for both indoor use and rugged outdoor adventures. We’ve taken it camping and on road trips—it’s super portable, rolls up easily, and still looks brand new after weeks of use.I also love that it’s machine washable. Just toss it in and it comes out clean without losing its shape or durability. Premium priced, not very thick, vinyl like texture
This chew proof dog bed mat is well made and uses a quality material that should be very resistant to your dog’s scratching and chewing. The sizing is correct in its length and width but the thickness was measured at less than one inch (see pic). Note: It is advertised at 1 1/2″ thick. If you are looking for a comfortable feel (especially for older dogs) I would not recommend the dog bed as it’ll probably be too firm. IMO, the polyester fiberfill padding inside the Cybarmour cover is not thick enough – maybe for puppies but definitely not for our (4) Y/O Golden Retriever. We’ve placed his original memory foam mat (3 1/2″ thick) next to the Cybarmour mat, which has a vinyl like texture, and he always chooses the memory foam mat to lie on. (see pics)The cover does have (4) loops (see pic), one at each corner that you can tie (ties not included) to the crate’s vertical posts that’ll keep it from slipping – highly unlikely as the fit inside the crate makes it snug. The material is very easy to clean, and it’s advertised to be machine washable and “dryer friendly” – these are nice qualities especially for cleaning since you don’t have to unzip the cover to remove the padding. (Note: there is no zipper sewn onto the mat).You do have a variety of sizes to choose from (associated with the common crate sizes), but no choice in color. The pricing is commensurate with the size. Overall, if you have a young dog that has been damaging their bed mats, this might be an excellent choice. IMO, this dog bed mat (41”x27”x1 1/2”) is selling at a premium price ($155.00) compared to similar products – main reason for (3) star rating.

Good crate pad for power diggers
Perfect fit. I would say that a power chewer would make quick work of this. I’ve even used Ballistic Beds with her and she chewed the corners. It does have a one time return policy, so that is useful. What I wanted it for was my power scratcher. She puts holes in everything digging her nest. It withstood her clawing, digging, and attempts to pull it up. So if your dog needs a well fitting crate mate that will stand up to power diggers, this is a good one.

So Far It Hasn’t Been Puppy Shredded
I have a now 7 month old naughty puppy who has destroyed four prior crate pads. Her normal method is to grab a corner and start chewing at that point before moving onto other areas of the pad. What I really love about this Cybarmour chew proof dog crate pad by Pelzin that includes tabs at the corners that I zipped tied to each corner of the wire crate. This serves two purposes: First it keeps the pad from moving around and more importantly it prevents the puppy from grabbing/chewing at the corners. So far, so fabulous. The pad is thin so I wouldn’t recommend it as a dog bed but as a durable crate pad it lives up to its claims.

nice but thin
I honestly was a bit disappointed to see how flat it is. That’s not what I was expecting at this price point. Our dog weight 60lbs and I think dogs this size need a bit more padding. So we use blankets underneath it which isn’t perfect as it gives him more things to potentially chew when crated.It fits in his crate perfectly. It has corner hoops to use as an anchor so it doesn’t move around.The fabric is very smooth and seems tough. But I’m not sure it’s indestructible. Surprisingly our dog didn’t try chewing it yet, but if he wanted to he could definitely shred it.The fabric is supposed to be waterproof, but when our dog drank some water and dribbled onto this liner the water went straight in.It does feel like this fabric would be easy to clean though.

Great quality crate pad
Great quality crate pad! I sometimes put my cat in a dog crate so they can get some fresh air. I like that the material is waterproof and is cooking. I haven’t washed it yet but it’s good that it’s machine washable and dryer friendly.As you can see one of my cats already claimed the new pad and sleeps very comfortably on it before I got a chance to put it in the crate. Great price for the size I ordered.

Would not recommend
It took 1 day before the corners were chewed off and 3 before completely destroyed. Our dog is an Australian Cattle dog mix, so not exactly an aggressive chewer.

Pad 1, pittie puppy 0!
This is not a tall thick pad.However, or has withstood the loving ministrations of my pittie puppy, who thinks beds are more interesting when he can see the inside of them. There are a few chew marks, but no major damage after a few weeks of him trying to tear it up.That is a win. He has a thing for beds, to the point of sneaking in the other crates to destroy those, so having anything stay intact is a major event!It is true to size, a tiny bit large fir his crate, but the edge easily folds up to accommodate it.The pic shows the only damage he has succeeded in inflicting. Very minor, cosmetic only.
