Dries quickly & keeps my dog warm after baths. He really loves the hood & it’s comforting for him, he immediately goes to sleep with it on & its super cute. The Velcro strap underneath to keep the robe on is amazing quality. The robe is really soft & thick. The color options are amazing & can’t wait for more colors to be released. The robes are so soft, absorb so much water from the fur, keep the fur from drying funny, stay on the dogs so nicely, fit well, and wash/dry well. These robes were one of the best investments for bath time for my dogs. My beagle just enjoys comfort, we call her the queen of comfort. She doesn’t really need it and doesn’t like having anything on her floppy cute ears, but enjoys wearing it since it’s comfy. We got her one since her brother NEEDED one, so we didn’t want her to feel left out. If you are wondering if a robe for your dog is worth it and will make bath time easier, just buy it and give it a try! You will not regret it!! I wish I had known/thought of these sooner, it would have saved me so much time! And they always fall asleep in them after bath time. The hood is loose so they aren’t suffering from it being tight. I do wish the hood was adjustable so I could make it tighter so it’d stay on better, but it’s not bad and overall decent. The robe as a whole is seriously amazing!! 15/10 highly highly recommend! And they’re so darn cute!

Adorable and Effective – A Must-Have Dog Bathrobe!
Love! Not only is this bathrobe absolutely adorable, but it’s also incredibly functional. There’s a noticeable difference in my dog’s fur when they wear the bathrobe compared to just being towel dried — it helps absorb so much more water and leaves their coat softer and less frizzy. Plus, it keeps the mess contained and makes post-bath time so much easier. Highly recommend for any pup!

Very plush and warm! Adjustable sizing.
Super cozy! The material is very plush and warm, high quality, and the color (pink) is great! I ordered a small for my pup (1.5 y/o female Shiba Inu ~18lbs) and it fits great. The torso has several long strips of velcro, which allows it to be easily adjustable in girth and could easily be sized fit over her harness if necessary. She admittedly doesn’t *love* wearing clothes, but overtime she will adjust and hopefully get plenty of use out of this robe! Being in the PNW it can get pretty cold and, of course, rainy, so I think this will be perfect for the coming winter months—not just for post-bath time. Plus, how cute? She’s gonna be talk of the dog park this winter!My only suggestion would be an option with a hood instead of the drawstring mechanism that’s there now. The only reason I say that is because my dog doesn’t like things slipping over her head and the opening is a little tight at first. I think she would be more okay with wearing the robe if I could wrap it around her torso (as it is) and then flop the hooded part with the ears down instead of puling it over her head and having it be cinched at the neck. Shiba’s have pretty thick necks under all that fur! I think with more use (and stretching as the other reviews suggest) it’ll be just fine though. Can’t wait to show of her new digs! Best dog towel ever!
My dog loves her post-bath Derpy Chappy! It’s great to have her wear it and let her be able to run around, while still drying off and not getting everything in the house wet. And she looks ridiculously adorable while wearing it. She has the red one and the color has not bled in the wash, has not stained her (she’s a white dog), and still looks new even though we’ve used it for a couple of years now. Highly recommend!

Very cute and functional
I have a large dog that I take in the shower to bathe. He doesn’t like the hair dryer and so his wet body is around my house for a few hours. While I towel him off does cut down on the wet, this robe became quite a solution for me. It’s easy to get on him, stays in place, protects my home from the water, and he doesn’t seem to mind wearing it….it’s very cute too.

Excellent dog robe
We live near the beach and have a golden retriever who loves to swim – this means dealing with a very wet dog very often!! This robe has been such a time saver to get our big dog dry after a good swim or a bath, and it helps keep him warm after swimming during the colder months. Since our dog has a very thick fur that holds a lot of water, we generally rub (the dripping wet dog) with a towel first, and then wrap him like a burrito with this Derpy Chappy robe to finish drying. A major bonus is that this robe helps keep moisture from the floor and furniture as our dog takes his post-swimming nap in it.To be honest, I was skeptical at first that our dog would keep the robe on, since we had never put any clothing on him before. However he seems to absolutely love it!! The material is super soft, thick, and absorbent, and the velcro closure keeps the robe in place. The XL is a great size/length for a big dog like ours (80+ lbs). Highly recommend!

Our little guy doesn’t mind having it on and it kept a lot of water off the floors/walls until he’s dry enough. The cuff holds well but still feels comfortable and the thorax velcro is adjustable for optimal pooch confort.Would recommend 10/10!
