More Time for What Matters

Cleaning traditional dog beds and removing hair trapped in crevices is way too time-consuming. That’s why designer DEEN and I set out to change the game. After testing 100+ fabrics, we finally perfected it—premium faux leather. Muddy paws, drool, crumbs, and pet hair? Just wipe it clean in seconds

At GUANGDEEN, we believe saving just 10 minutes a day on cleaning adds up to 60 extra hours a year. Time isn’t money—but GUANGDEEN gives you more of it

1. Is faux leather durable enough for a dog bed? Won’t my dog scratch or tear it?

The good news is high-quality faux leather is surprisingly tough! To make it even more durable, we’ve reinforced the surface with double-stitched seams for extra resistance against scratching and clawing.

Won’t faux leather make the bed hot and uncomfortable for my dog?

“No, unlike genuine leather, faux leather dog beds are designed for comfort. They typically feature breathable backing to prevent overheating, plus the built-in massage foam promotes air circulation to keep your pup cool and cozy.”

    Excellent Dog Bed Cover
I absolutely love this dog bed cover. It is so easy to wipe down, well made, and looks like leather. My large dog absolutely loves it! Highly recommend. The cloth covers retain a dog smell and would require constant washing to keep it fresh smelling, but the life span was short as they were not well made and would begin to separate. With this one I wipe it off with a damp cloth and looks brand new. I will be purchasing a backup if ever needed.

Not chew resistant in the least
I had doubts as soon as this arrived…. How is this “indestructible”…. It felt cheap and thin… and lo and behold, the FIRST day in the kennel, I was gone for only a couple hours and both are chewed through, but one completely destroyed. These are FAR from durable for strong chewers. What a joke

    NOT FOR ALL DOGS . . .
This is a very thin cover for a dog bed. It looks like leather and is waterproof and able to be easily wiped down. If your dog is older or NOT a chewer, this could definitely work for you. If you have leather furniture, this would really fit right in with your decor. I cannot comment on the comfort of this as it did not last very long in my home. I set it up and my two large dogs jumped right on it and laid down. I went to get a cup of coffee and by the time I got back, it was already ripped up and one of my dogs was pulling the comforters I had put inside of it out onto the floor. I think this would have actually lasted a while with my one calm dog. But, I had little hopes of it lasting with my high energy, “chew everything up” and “take it apart” young German Shepherd and it lasted under 30 minutes.

    Fits over 24 X 30” dog bed
Fits over 30 X 24” dog bed. Had a dog that would pee in the bed, and this keeps it dry if she does it. I just put a blanket over the vinyl cover and wash that if she does.

    Do not buy
Says chew proof but my puppy destroyed it in 20 minutes!

    Tough but…..
When I read the description of this dog bed cover, I wasn’t expecting what arrived. In the title it says leather. I knew it wasn’t leather. It’s sorta a thick vinyl type material.Due to that, it’s not a bed cover I want in my bedroom, making scratching turn over sounds during the night. We put it out on the porch and put a memory foam inside so it can be a good water proof outside bed.Honestly, the dogs haven’t laid on it once. I’m thinking the material might have something to do with that.If you need a bed cover that needs to be waterproof, then I think you’ll be good with this. Although, my use for a bed cover in the house, not so much. It’s truly a cover for the outdoors or somewhere where the dog will be encountering lots of moisture. It wasn’t really what I wanted so I didn’t want to give it five stars. It seems to be made alright and should hold up a bit.The material is thick and should be resistent to moderate chewers.

Great outer layer at a good price.
Slide it over an older bed’s innards and have a new one. Easy to use. Easy to wash and gives you options while cleaning the original or vice versa. This is functionality. My cats love it, so I know it’s comfortable. It is inexpensive, water repellant and is made from durable, strong material with good stitching. This will not get claws stuck in it so no worries about trips to the vet from a claw cut to the quick, making this safe as well. This is a really good outer layer.

Not the most “cozy” but it’s waterproof enough!
I like to have dog bed covers to throw on when I have something in the wash, and this seemed like a good option. The dogs, however, don’t seem to agree. I think it has something to do with the “poof”. When you sit or step on the bed, the displaced air moves to the outside areas. That means that it never really is a “snuggle into” kind of dog bed, but more one that if you put your whole body on it, you can still see out while your head is down. I used a very soft insert that I already had and zipped it into this cover. The feel of it doesn’t feel like real leather (the backing of the fabric used indicates that is a correct guess), and it doesn’t allow air to move in and out of the pillow. If the insert was damp when you put it inside, I’m thinking mold or mildew might develop. Instead of sitting on the dog bed, my pups have taken to sitting next to this dog bed cover on their once-favorite insert. Still, it doesn’t slip around too much and it looks nice at this stage (there’s no flaking or tears yet, but it could happen if a dog started to dig into it to circle up into a sleeping position – I have pit bull terriers, so they do that often). For the prices, this isn’t a bad backup cover to have, but it wasn’t a favorite of my dogs’ so I don’t think I will use it often.
