Pretty good treat toy, but treat size does matter
I was on the fence between a 4 and 5-star rating for this. I considered a 4-star because the treats really do need to be a very specific size to work best. If they’re too small, they fall right out of the zig-zag opening, and if they’re too large, they won’t come out at all. I tried my pup’s regular kibble first, and all he had to do was roll it a little, and they just fell right on out. There was no reason for him to do anything other than bat it around for a second to get all the treats. I then tried to put these little disc treats in (fed them into the openings, and they fit great!) But with that, he just ate what was exposed and didn’t try to get anything else. He just got tired of it and went on to something else.Having said that, I did end up giving it a 5-star review because it is durable, it is a good size, and it does fit a good number of treats in it. As a chew stick, he seems to like it. It also makes a great fetch toy (which we do not put treats in while playing like that).Onyx is a moderately aggressive chewer, and I do think this toy will stand up for quite a while. So far, it shows zero signs of wear or tear, which is perfect. Currently, his record is taking a toy down in 45 seconds (I was so sad! It was a screaming pig for aggressive chewers, and he was on a mission to prove that wrong). He gets this stick every evening. We play a round of fetch in the back yard with it for a bit, and then he gets some treats in it in the house after.

One Toy Masquerading as a ‘Set’ — But My Lab Loves It Anyway
Two weeks in, and I’m starting to think my 70-pound lab missed the memo about being an “aggressive chewer.” This PETOPIA toy looks exactly like it did on day one — which either means it’s genuinely tough or my dog’s just being polite. But first, let’s talk about what you’re actually getting. The listing says “Set” right in the title and promises “varied shapes and sizes” that “cater to different chewing styles.” What arrives? One stick-shaped toy. Just one. It’s orange with blue textured ends, and while those different textures are nice, calling this a “set” with “varied shapes” is straight-up misleading. If you’re expecting multiple toys like I was, prepare to be disappointed. The real magic happens when you stuff the long compartment with something sticky. Regular treats? They’ll tumble right out faster than my patience during a Monday morning meeting. But slather some peanut butter inside those grooves, and suddenly you’ve got a dog who’s actually interested in chewing instead of just carrying his new rubber friend around like a security blanket. The ends seem designed for treats too — the openings look like they’d fit something small like a Zuke’s mini, but they’re not flexible enough to make retrieval easy for your dog. Unless the treat is small enough to just fall back out, it might become more of a puzzle than a reward. The grooved texture is supposed to clean teeth while he chews, but honestly? He doesn’t go at it nearly long enough for me to notice any dental benefits. He’s more of a “gentle gnaw and move on” kind of guy than a “destroy everything in sight” chewer, so your mileage may vary. One quirk: this thing smells like vanilla plastic. Not sure if that’s intentional or just how it’s made, but it’s definitely noticeable when you first open the package. My dog doesn’t seem to mind, but it caught me off guard.Since he’s never met a toy he couldn’t leave perfectly intact, I can’t really stress-test the “indestructible” claims. But after two weeks of regular use, zero wear and tear is promising — especially considering how quickly some toys show teeth marks.Bottom line: if you’ve got a dog who needs something to keep busy and you’re willing to get creative with the stuffing, this works well. The durability claims might be legit — I just can’t test them with a lab who treats everything like fine china. Just don’t expect the “set” the listing promises — you’re getting one toy, period.

indestructible dog chew toy that keeps him entertained
I use this at night to keep my German Shepherd entertained. It is indestructible, so it will last. But, it is also fun for him. I put a doggie meat stick (Beggin Strip) in the center piece (need to pry the whole thing open), and it is not coming out. But, it has the smell, so he chews at the chew toy for hours trying to get at it. After a few hours, I take out the meat stick and shove it in perpendicular, so it sticks out, ands give the toy back to him. Within seconds, he eats the meat stick, which is his reward for playing with the toy. While I could put peanut butter in there and Axl (my GSD) would love it, that would be messy in the long run, and peanut butter would be on the floor and still some stuck in there, and hard to get clean. Using the meat stick, he is entertained, loves to chew, and there is no mess at all. At $17, this is a decently priced toy that can keep even an aggressive chewer entertained daily, and it will last.

Indestructible? It just might be
Didn’t want to post my review until my dog had been working on it for a week or two and so far no damage, He’s a 2-year-old German Shepherd and most toys last him around a week and then they go in the trash in pieces. We’ve only had one or two toys that have survived him for very long this one will make a third. It’s flexible has a pocket in the middle to hide treats, and deforms without ripping or tearing up when he chews on it. all in all are very good dog toy for a dog that’s a very aggressive chewer. My dog has an easy time catching it and we’ve had a lot of fun throwing it back and forth. It does weigh a little more than most of his other toys probably wouldn’t be appropriate for a medium or small dog.

Durable and Engaging
These chew toys have been holding up great with my Dutch Shepherds, who are strong and determined chewers. The rubber is tough and hasn’t torn or broken despite daily use. I like that they double as treat-dispensing toys, keeping the dogs mentally engaged. The textured surface is a nice bonus for their teeth, and the materials feel safe and solid. Definitely a good value for large, aggressive chewers!
