Fantastic Cooling Mat for Dogs – My Pup Loves It!
This dog cooling mat has been a total win in our house. It’s noticeably cool to the touch right out of the package, and what’s amazing is that it requires no water, refrigeration, or electricity—just lay it down and it does its thing. The 27″ x 38″ size is perfect for large breeds, and it’s so lightweight and foldable that we take it everywhere—in the car, on the couch, or right on the floor. My dog will seek it out no matter where we place it and plop down, totally content and comfortable. It also has a non-slip base, so it stays securely in place, even on slick floors. The fact that it’s fully machine washable is a huge bonus—makes cleanup super easy.Honestly, I almost wish they made a queen-sized version for humans—I’d absolutely use it during hot summer nights. If your dog struggles with heat, this mat is a game-changer. Highly recommend!

I don’t know how the thing works, but my dog and cat really like it.
This is an interesting item that I would not have normally ordered, but because summer is coming here in the south I figured I would. With two cats and two dogs who are always hot and looking to be comfortable and laying all over the floor because that’s the coolest place to be, I figured it might be a good bet. I was right. In fact, I have attached a picture of my cat sitting on it inside the dog crate. She seeks it out because she likes it. It seems that all of these cooling blankets are around the same price and this one is a medium and does fit a medium size dog. It’s a little small for my bigger dog but perfect for my boxer mix. After I ordered one I ordered another because it was so popular and they all seem to like it. The color is nice although I wish it came in a different color. I would’ve ordered one that match better with my living room, but nothing is perfect right? If you do have animals that are sensitive to the heat one of these might work out well for you. I find my larger dog likes to just lay with her head on it as well. And it does feel cool to the touch. I haven’t washed it yet but it is supposed to be washable although you shouldn’t put it in a dryer. When you feel the material you can see why. I took one star off because I think the price would be a little lower although I don’t really understand the technology so that might not be the case. They all seem to be around the same price for the same size cooling blanket. I’ve put it out on my porch and it has a rubberized bottom. The dog likes to lay on it out there and the bigger dog likes to put her head on it out there and you can just shake it off and bring it right inside. It’s a nice item a little different but I’m glad I ordered it because it does get deadly hot down here. The picture I attach makes it look like my cat is locked inside a crate. She really isn’t. She just goes inside. The dog crate and the door tends to swing shut. I am not keeping my cat in a crate with a cooling blanket! Although she might not mind it! It’s definitely worth a try if you haven’t used one before and your dog is sensitive to heat, you live in a really hot place or if summers get hot where you live.

Nice mat
Ordered this for our bulldog, he has a hard time when the weather starts warming up, and this pad fit perfectly on top his bed in his crate, so it is cool to lay on. He will seek it out if he feels overheated. It was a nice touch to add to his crate, and I am glad I ordered. The product came quickly, it is easy to wash. All in all a good vibe.

Just ok, nothing special
Works ok. The fabric feels soft and cool to the touch, but not a significant difference at least for my doodle with all his fur. He doesn’t seek out this mat, but doesn’t mind if it’s in his crate… I wouldn’t use this if you still have a puppy or a chewer.

Amazingly Cooling
This cooling mat felt surprisingly cool when I pulled it out of the package. My six-month-old wild child took to it immediately. She is over 50% sled dog (husky and malamute, plus at least eight other breeds), and her wooly undercoat is growing in rapidly, meaning that she’s suddenly very warm all of the time. The mat is not plush (think “old-style quilted mattress pad designed to prevent the mattress from getting stained”), but you don’t want plushness to envelop you when you’re trying to cool off. The medium size is smaller than her nearly 40 lbs, but she rarely lies fully on anything, preferring to lie as she lands, so she’s happy with it.Our pup rarely slows down, but this cooling pad gives her a whole new reason to lie down. She’s very happy relaxing on it, and is showing no interest in chewing on it, which is rare for her. This is a much better and safer option than things like neck coolers with polymer crystals, which I’ve used unsuccessfully for huskies in the past. This cooling mat is foldable, machine washable and dryable, and it makes my pup very happy. I know that it will be especially useful for travel in the car. I recommend it.

Slightly cooler than other pad surfaces
The mat is definitely cooler than other surfaces. My kitty likes it and sits on it alot. He is also the one who heat seeks more, so go figure? It does feel warmer under where he lays, so maybe the pad absorbs his heat and he likes it for that. The dog seems to like it too. It wont cool a severely hot pet but offers the a temperature change in their environment. Seems durable and has a non slip silicone surface on the back, so it stays where you place it.

Like a Gel Pillow for Your Pup!
This cooling mat is a total win for our dog this summer! It really does feel like those cool-to-the-touch gel pillows we use on our own bed—instantly refreshing and super comfortable. Our pup loves lounging on it, especially after walks or playtime. It’s lightweight, easy to clean, and fits perfectly in her crate and in the car. We love that it’s non-toxic and portable, and she clearly loves how it feels. Definitely recommend for hot days or warm-climate pups!

Helps a bit to keep dog cooler
We have a dog with a thick Heeler-like coat. Her dog beds are cloth covered foam, which tend to hold heat. She gets hot easily when she lays on them for a long periods. This mat doesn’t hold and “trap” heat like the foam beds do. It seems to feel not cold, but a bit cooler to the touch than other things around it. It doesn’t feel cold like a blanket full of ice by any means, but it does seem to help her not overheat as much when she lays on her foam mattress dog beds (I lay the mat on to of her bed).
