Big hit with my Catahoula
I didn’t really know what a cooling blanket was, but as I live in the south and I have a dog that’s always hot. I figured I’d order it. It’s thin but actually does feel cool to the touch. My dog loves it. She lies on top of it. She pulls it out of her crate. She punches it up like a pillow. Basically I can’t get it away from her. Who would’ve thought that a “cooling mat” would be the hit of the summer?. It’s a little bit smaller than my medium size crate. It doesn’t entirely cover the bottom, but it doesn’t really have to because it sits on top of her regular crate mat. It has a nice soft feel to it and the pattern is cute. I can’t really speak to the cooling effect, but my dog can. She loves it and I’m going to get another one for my other dog.

I am very intrigued and have been wowed by the true cooling of this mat! My daughter and I even enjoyed walking on it just to feel the cooling effects.I actually bought it for my dog who never seems to be cool enough. It’s as if she’s had hot flashes since we got her. lol. We now have it in her kennel

Excellent cooling mat that really does feel cooler than other material. This is a good, high quality, well made blanket, mat, that’s made with a special cooling material. I have another one similar to this but it’s a different brand, and I was skeptical of these even after having gotten the other mat, it just didn’t seem that remarkable with the quick feel I took of it…. then I was moving this mat and I noticed something had made it “wet”…. but it turns out it wasn’t wet at all, I was just feeling the “coolness” of the blanket, it was indeed cooler than the surrounding materials. Great product.

Effective Cooling Mat with Some Durability Issues
We recently purchased the ASOOX Dog Cooling Mat for our furry friend, and overall, it has been a good addition to help him stay cool. The mat provides a slightly cooler surface than the ambient temperature, which our dog seems to appreciate, especially during warmer days.Pros:Cooling Effect: The mat does a decent job of providing a cooler surface, making it comfortable for our dog to lie on.Ease of Use: It’s simple to set up and doesn’t require any special maintenance to keep it cool.Cons:Durability: Unfortunately, the mat didn’t wash very well and pilled up heavily after a few washes. This has affected its appearance and texture.Maintenance: The pilling issue means it might not last as long as we hoped, especially with regular cleaning.Despite the durability concerns, the ASOOX Dog Cooling Mat serves its primary purpose of keeping our dog cool. It does feel cool to the touch right away. I have a Great Pyrenees mix who has a thick coat and tends to get hot easily, particularly in the summer. I got this for her. Even though she is an extra extra large dog, the medium size fits under her body, minus the shoulders and hindquarters. I also have a medium/large size American Bulldog, and a small Yorkie. They can all use it in some way, but my biggest dog definitely gets the most use out of it. It could probably be placed in a fridge or freezer to be even cooler when it is very hot in the summer, but that isn’t necessary. It’s nice to keep in the dog car seat, bed, kennel, or just out on the floor at her favorite spot to lay by the french doors and look out the window. It is non-slip on the back and is pretty good. It’s made well and is good quality all around. I don’t have any qualms with it and think my dog will enjoy it and use it even more the warmer the weather gets (or if it is warm in the house and she just feels like she needs to cool down).

Pretty cool, really
I’ve used cooling mats for my dog for years. Some are great, some not so much.This one is sort of in between,It doesn’t need to be wet down for the cooling effect to be activated. Just lay it flat and let it work. Super user friendly and keeps your house clean and dry.There is a non-slip rubber bottom designed to keep it from sliding all over the furniture or the floor.At approximately 1/3 of an inch thick, it provides some comfort while keeping your pet cool. I’ve had cooling mats almost an inch thick that my dogs preferred, but required liquid to be added to the gel insert, making for some interesting messes. Sometimes, sacrificing size and thickness for cleanliness and ease of cleaning is a win.This can be a great addition to a pet’s travel pack, either for camping or weekend getaways.

Smaller than expected
I tried this because one of my dogs eventually chews up everything, but he likes to lay on something. We recently took away the carpet & he won’t lay on the laminate. This was not bulky & my thoughts were I’d place it out of the way. The funny thing he’ll still sit & lay on it. Idk if it’s doing any cooling or comfort, but I suppose mentally it satisfies him, we’ll see how long it lasts. I gave it 3 stars because it was super tiny for a medium, large wasn’t available, but i doubt it’s much larger if this is medium.

Keep the pups cool as ice this summer
ASOOX Dog Cooling Mat (Medium)Surprisingly effective for such a thin mat—great for crates or car rides. Doesn’t require freezing or water, just stays cool naturally. My girl Trinity loves it. She plops on it every afternoon. A bit lightweight, so better indoors than on windy patios. So easy to clean, honestly I throw it in the wash machine and it comes out like new!
