A cool waterbed for dogs
This huge 47.2″ x 29.5″ pet cooling mat is absolutely cool, in every sense of the word! It is comfortable to lay on, even for my husband to lie down on it to play with our dogs. This thing is so big, it can actually fit my 5’5″ husband and two of our dogs at the same time. It took me a few minutes to fill it up at the sink, and when it wasn’t nearly halfway filled, I realized it got very heavy with water. I moved the cooling mat to our outdoor patio and continued to fill it with a garden hose. It took about ten minutes to have it ready to use and it was easy to fill through the rubber opening on one side. We left it out overnight and verified that there are no leaks; this item is well-made and sturdy, with thick material that will not easily rip or tear. We keep it outside in a shaded area and the mat stays cool to touch. The material and feel of this mat reminds me of a waterbed I used to have back in the 90s, except this one is a waterbed for dogs. Very cool idea!

Great item but my dogs are scared of it because it moves
My dogs will not lay on this. It is a great idea for the hot summers and I figured my dogs would love this as they love to lay on the cool concrete when it’s so hot. It is made in quality material. My dogs have all scratched at it and does not tear or puncture holes in it. They are scared of it because it moves due to the water in it. When I first opened it and put it on the ground to fill it all of them laid on it. Then I started filling it with water and it started to move they immediately got off. Then when I was all done filling it up they all went and started scratching at it making it move even more and they were done. Will not even go near it now. Other than that it is a great item. It is made out of a strong waterproof material and holds up very well. my dogs were really scratching it and nothing happened. No holes. It keeps it cool. I keep mine in the shade and not in the sun and for a few days I feel it and it still fells cool to the touch. The only reason for 4 stars is because my dogs will not lay on it so some other pets may not. It is very easy to clean. Simply spray it off with the hose or wipe it down with a washcloth. I ordered mine in the xl because I have 3 dogs and they all have to lay together. It is a great size and a really big dog would fit comfortably or a few fur baby’s if they all have to lay together. It would definitely keep your dogs cooler if they don’t mind the feeling of it.

Great little cooling pad for pets. I have a Boston Terrier that is constantly overheating and she loves this product. The cooling effect even works well with a think blanket on top of it to add some padding.Easy to use, just fill with water and put the cap back on.Its well constructed and feels sturdy – the directions warn not to fill it to 100% as I would imagine that would lead to it too much pressure/leaks, partially filled it feels much softer as well.At this price point its a great value – anyone with a pet that gets warm should definitely get one of these!

Effective Cooling, But Messy and Best for Ground Use and Time-Consuming to Fill
I recently bought this dog cooling mat and it does a great job at keeping my pet cool, and I love that it stays cold for a long time. The material is breathable and easy to wipe clean, which is a plus.However, filling it with water is a bit of a hassle. You have to fill it up with water, which is messy and takes a while because it gets water everywhere and takes a long time to fill completely. Once filled, it’s pretty heavy, making it less portable if you need to move it around. I would not recommend using this on furniture or anything other than the ground, as it’s too messy for car or furniture use, so I don’t see it being very versatile like they’ve advertised. Overall, it’s effective for cooling outdoors or on the ground, but be prepared for the filling process to be a bit messy and very time-consuming.
