Disappointing Not Well Sized or Padded
The bed portion of this bed is padded, however the front of the bed that extends out from the bed is not padded and the bed itself is shallow, will work for a smaller dog, but not so much for any dog larger than 15 to 18 lbs. Using it on a couch/chair, the padded portion did not fully fit either seat, couch/chair, the back of the bed had to be positioned 4 to 5 inches out and in front of the back of the couch/chair in order to drape the extension over the front of the couch/chair cushion, again to shallow. My solution was to place this on a very large Molly Mutt bed, covering the bed entirely so that this whole bed is padded and either both of my girls can use it or Monty the large dog could use it. So far, only the girls have used it. It does have a zipper that allows for removal of the cover for washing, seems to be sturdy, my bed chewer has not imbibed in this bed yet (if she were going to chew it, that would have happened day one), plush, and cozy. If you have a small dog, this would be adequate for them, however do not expect it to completely fit the entirity of your couch/chair from front to back.
