This dog grooming arm is very easy to use and stable. I have a shi tzu and it works very well. This is very small dog friendly. I also like how it doesn’t harm the dog but allows the dog to stay out in one place. I like how we can attract it to many different surfaces.

We have a very wiggly Shih Tzu, and using this arm and harness makes it very easy to handle him when grooming. It’s also nice because you can easily fold it up and store it away. The setup is extremely easy, you don’t have 1,000 parts to assemble.

Nice grooming arm
This is a handy device for grooming my dogs (8 and 14 pounds). We only use the hanging harness for their nails. Otherwise, they stand on the counter with their heads and bodies through the loops. It does the job. I don’t think it’s strong enough to handle any dogs hanging that weigh over 15-20 pounds though. As long as they are standing on a table or counter, it should work though.

Easy to use
Purchased to use for grooming my 10lb Maltese, overall I’ve been very happy with it & has been a good buy for my needs. Allows me to keep him in one spot as I groom and adjust the back up so he can’t sit but is still comfortable. Easy to set up, metal is solid not thin at all & supports are padded well. If you’re looking to groom a pet larger than a Maltese or small dog/cat, this might not have enough height to extend, the vertical rod only goes so high (I have it already at the max height).

I had never in my life groomed a dog before deciding to try. My puppy was 4 months old and I wanted to get started desensitizing him to nail clippers and the shaver noise. He did great, and I felt secure that this arm would be stable and safe. It’s heavy enough and well made!
