Not a fan of the nail guard
This has a nail guard on it or stopper of some sort that goes between the two clippers. I originally thought this would be awesome but I cannot cut my cat’s claws with that because the claw will be too far in the cutter and cause damage by cutting too deep. It does slide all the way so you can see the nail and trim just the tip. I almost prefer using human nail clippers for trimming the cats claws but I think after a little bit of practice these will be just fine. It does come with a nail file and some weird metal comb which I assume helps with the hairy animals.

Nice manicure kit, great value
This is a well-assembled kit. I ordered it for the clippers, but it also includes a file, a comb, and very clear instructions on the box. The clippers are sharp and fit well in my hand, which is probably about average for an adult female.The only thing I didn’t like is that the texture of the handle is pretty smooth, and it’s better if clippers have a slightly sticky/matte texture so that your grip stays secure even if you or the animal move suddenly. But I liked the size of the clippers, their sharpness, and the fact that they have a lock and a guard.I would recommend this product for anyone with a very steady hand. I probably wouldn’t purchase it again, although it is fairly good value for money.
