Finally I have found the best tool for my dogs long “talons”! She would bite and act as if we were trying to kill her to trim her nails with clippers… I decided to try this grinder but thought it would freak her out. I introduced her to it first by turning on and holding near her a few times before using, then to my amazement she let us grind her long nails down without a fight! This works SO GOOD! Better than clippers as its safer and and smoother finish on nails. It’s quiet, works quickly and I love the light to help see what you’re working on. This was a great price and has held up good since last year. A great buy for sure!

Powerful, quiet and quick.
My dog is extremely sensitive about having her nails trimmed, had long nails, and is terrified of clippers. With this device, I can do each nail a little bit safely and quickly and leave a smoothly rounded tip in just a few seconds for each nail. By doing each nail just a little bit each time the process is so free of trauma that I can do it pretty frequently and have managed to get her nails trimmed to the correct length without ever risking cutting the quick. The whole process is over before the dog realizes that it is time to panic. I find that the secret is to catch her when she has relaxed on the couch, planning my attack, sit next to her and hold her paws, and be gentle but decisive about it. It works like a charm. Highly recommend it.

Works well for size & price – easier than nail cutting for anxious pup
I do like this grinder. It is smaller & a bit less powerful than the wall plug ones but it definitely works well. It is very quiet & effectively grinds my pups nails quickly & with little effort. I love the light on it – that comes in handy every time. The debris dust is a bit messy without the guard but its quicker without it. I like that it comes with accessories that are removable & is so easy to use. Definitely recommend this grinder! Keeps a charge well & does the job!

The best pet nail grinder I’ve used
This is the best pet nail grinder I’ve used. I had used it for several months now and the results are amazing. My dog doesn’t freak out, it has a light on the top which makes it easier to see the nail so you don’t grind too low. The charge holds for a long time and to recharge it takes only 30 minutes. It’s pretty light and not very loud so it doesn’t scare my dog while I’m using it.

This is the 3rd brand of pet nail grinder that I have purchased. The 1st & 2nd ones (different brands) I returned because one went dead and wouldn’t charge at all. The other one needed to be recharged after every two times of usage. This Pet Nail Grinder easily exceeded my expectations. I grind my German Shepherd Dog’s nails a little bit every third day to keep them proper length. After three weeks I realized that I had never had to charge it up. I then charged it up and recharge it about every 3 to 4 weeks. This Nail Grinder is very quiet and very smooth and does a great job that my dog does mind it at all. It comes with a 2nd grinding wheel which gave me a great Idea! After I cut my my own toe nails & finger nails I switch to the spare grinding wheel with out the plastic guard I smooth out the rough edges (from the clipper) and it does a great job. Even if the spinning wheel touches the skin it does no damage to the skin.I highly recommend this brand, it works great on my dog and even on my own nails.
