This one is a keeper, easy to use and not noisy.
This is the cutest thing ever, and i’m talking about the paw cleaner I ordered for my dog (although my Bonita is a beauty). I had never seen one of these gadgets, but hooray to whomever invented it. It’s a plastic or silicone cuplike contraption with little soft “tentacles” (they’re not really tentacles, I just don’t know what they’re called). I’m sure it’s in the product description. The outside is grey and inside are the little tentacles, you put some water in it, put your pups paw in it (one at a time), and you press on the button on the side of the cup and it starts moving the “tentacles” as it washes my dogs paws. It’s not noisy, and although she’d had enough of me by then, you can tell by how she looks at me, she behaved very well. She was a hot mess today and really needed a full bath, we just didn’t have it in us, so this is fantastic. What to do with her ears, she went into another dogs bowl, much bigger, and got her ears soaking wet. So, this paw cleaner is a keeper and it’s going into my furbaby bag. Just so you get an idea, She’s a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel , 7 months old she must be at 9-10 lbs not quite 12″ tall yet and this worked perfectly for her size and we went inside the cup about 2″ with space to spare for a larger dog like a Schnauzer for example.

If you have a dog that likes going outside this is a must
I love this thing! My dog hates it. She has never liked having her paws cleaned. We have owned a similar one of these in the past, but what I like about this one over that is the that it agitates itself. This one has a little button that you push and it rotates cause the water to slosh around and clean their paws. The one we had before we would have to stick her paw in had move it back and forth to clean her paw. It does seem to take a little getting used to or at least for me it did. It is a lot to do at once. Put her paw in, keep her balanced, push the button. But once you get the hang of it it’s worth it. The price is not bad either. I do wish the water well was just a little deeper. That would be my only complaint so far.

Measure across the top of the paw not the bottom
Unfortunately, this paw cleaner didn’t work for any of my dogs due to sizing issues, but I think it could work for Goldilocks-sized dogs. The description states that the cup is suitable for paws measuring 1.5–2.5 inches. When I measured the bottom of my border collie mix and shepherd mix’s paws, they both measured 2 inches, so I thought this would be a good fit. However, when the cup arrived, their paws could barely wedge inside with all the silicone scrubbers sticking out. Because of the tight fit, the semi-automatic spinning function couldn’t move at all. Without a paw inside, the scrubbers spin easily.I’m giving the product the benefit of the doubt and assuming the issue is with how paw size is measured. If I measure across the top of my dogs’ paws while they’re standing, they actually measure 3 inches from one side to the other. A more specific guide or picture on how to measure for sizing would have been helpful. That said, I also think the product images showing a golden retriever using this cleaner are misleading—retrievers likely have paws similar in size to my dogs, and I don’t see how it would work for them either. For my 6 lb chihuahua mixes, the cup was too big—not because of width, but because it’s too tall in relation to their height, making it difficult for them to get their paws inside easily.Value: The current price of this semi-automatic paw cleaner is $15.99 USD, which seems about average for similar products.

Solid and handy for salty sidewalk season
I have two 15lb dogs and their paws fit well into this cleaner. At the bottom there is button you can push to rotate the inner silicone brush, but I find it easier just to move the unit up and down, dunking the paw.

Neat little helper for the dogs paws in rainy muddy yards.
We have a small dog about 30 lbs and this worked pretty well to swirl off the slightly muddy paws when coming in. What’s funny is there is a button on the base that rotates upper part of the cup to help clean the paw (like a mini washing machine that is people powered) but the listing just states to turn the device to clean the paws? Not sure why they don’t mention this major feature of the product? Anyway, it worked pretty well, but don’t expect the button to allow it do pivot if your dog puts their full weight down in the cup….you need to keep any weight off the bottom to allow rotation when using the button.

Works well if you get the sizing right
It’s a good decent self contained paw cleaner. My dogs paws fit without any issues, but there is concern if your dogs paws are larger the product just wont work. You need enough room to be able to spin the cylinder around so the little rubber bristles can get between the paws and fur the knock off dirt otherwise you just end up soaking the paw in water, still better than him leaving dirt prints all over the floors.

Great way to keep dirt/mud outside
We just moved to a new home that has not been fully landscaped and our yard is full of red clay. When it rains, we have a red mud pit that our dog has a difficult time staying out of. The Think Paw Dog Paw Cleaner is a huge help in getting her muddy paws clean. The inside has soft silicone “bristles” that rub against the dogs paw to help it get clean. Then you pull the dogs paw out, wipe it with a towel and move on to the next paw. It is so nice to have a way to get her paws clean and to help keep the dirt/mud outside.

Not really practical
Good in theory but not really in practice. It’s awkward to try and hold your dogs paw in there and push the button to spin at the same time, and the opening is difficult to get the paw into. There’s no water reservoir, so you have to fill it with soapy water every time you want to use it. For me, this means walking upstairs to the sink to get water, then bringing it back down to the dog to use every time we come home for a walk. You could achieve the same with a plain cup of soapy water
