DURABLE AND ENGAGING!!
Up to now, this has been the only puzzle-type toy I’ve purchased for our Pit-Terrier. She’s loves treats, but is also a very aggressive chewer. I needed something that was engaging, yet durable, and this fit the bill. Our dog is very bright and figured out how to get the treats, fairly quickly. I’ll usually go two or three sessions with her, in about 10 minutes. When she smells a treat but can’t get a cover to move out of the way, that’s when she can get frustrated and try to gnaw at it or swipe it much harder. When this occurs, she really doesn’t want me to help. She’ll nudge my hand out of the way, so I only move things when she absolutely can’t.The push-down squeaker, in the middle of the puzzle is a great thing to use to signal to your dog it’s time to play this puzzle game.Taking head from some reviews I had read, I watch our dog the entire time she’s playing with this, because I can see how a paw nail could get stuck in some of the slots, if unsupervised. I also recommend cleaning the toy, after each use. Wiping the openings to remove any leftover slobber or treat crumbs is easy to do.Note: Even though she’s a medium-large size, I typically give my dog very small treats and I wanted a puzzle game that would accommodate that. If you are looking for one that can fit large treats, unless you break them into smaller pieces, this probably isn’t for you.

Definitely recommend
I was a bit concerned that my Lab, with his big fat nose (he’s 2 years old), would not be able to work this puzzle. I needn’t be. He was all over this thing and figured it out very quickly. His first reaction was to stomp on it, bite it, pick it up and throw it but he quickly decided that it was better to use a lighter touch (for a Lab. If you have one you’ll know what I’m saying). Anyway, he’s getting a lot of joy out of this puzzle, so much that I’ve bought several more of different types to keep him engaged. I’ve seen people say that their dog is not food-motivated and doesn’t show any interest. Change the food. Instead of boring, regular kibble, how about some pieces of bacon, hotdog or cheese instead. Dogs have extremely powerful noses and there’s bound to be something that will be interesting enough. I’d definitely recommend this puzzle toy for any dog.

Small Bites Only
I’ve purchased several puzzles in the past few months and my dog loves working on them, but this puzzle/dog toy isn’t as easily filled as most of the other puzzles and it holds only the smallest treats or bit of food. I have been using puzzles to feed my fast eating puppy her breakfast and none of the pieces fit in this puzzle. If you feed your dog soft food, this would be perfect though or even a small kibble, but if you choose petfresh or any food with larger pieces of meat and vegetable it isn’t a good fit. The over all functionality and quality is great, but it doesn’t fit with our needs. It’s cute, heavy enough that my twelve pound pup can’t flip it over and steal the food or treats… but her food just isn’t going to fit in this and since she’s a chunk we aren’t currently doing many treats. This will be a puzzle we use more in the future though.

Great training tool and slows down eating!
Great for training and slows down eating! I picked up a couple of these for my new puppies (Australian Shepards). They were 8 weeks old at the time and SO full of energy!! They would eat their food so fast that I was worried they were eating way too fast (they were inhaling their food in about 60 seconds in a regular bowl). I also got them both foraging bowls. This has slowed them down immensely. They absolutely love flipping through the levers looking for food. I was amazed at how fast the mastered this. I will continue to use it because they literally paw at it asking for it to be filled, but at 12 weeks they are pretty much ready for the next level already!

Great fun for your dog if stimulation is needed.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Had ordered another level from this product and my dog loved it, so we ordered the next level and she wasn’t disappointed. She loves playing this game. She is a German Shepard and Australia Shepherd mix so she is smart.

Smaller dog toy
This is a fun toy. But should be for a much smaller dog. Maybe for 10 to 20 pounds

Came in a timely manner and my pooch took to it right away. He figured out the basics right out of the gate but there are other elements that he’s working on. I have a miniature poodle and I think we’re up to the 6th session with this. I will definitely level up once he’s got it completely figured out, assuming he ever does! Anyway, he enjoys it as I put his favourite treats in there so it’s worth his effort.

It’s a little wonky because some pieces don’t slide all that well. My puppy seems to love it none the less. He just can’t get to certain compartments cause it’s too hard for him. might be defective? I’m not sure.

Great toy! My puppy figured out everything but the corner bone pieces in 2 mins and keeps going back to see about those ones. Not something that occupies them for a long time but super fun for us both haha
