Perfect for anxious old 80lb dog 🙂
My old doggo who has arthritis easily used this the first time (and every time after). You hook the strap and caribeaner to the hatch hook (I have mini SUV) and rest it on the edge of the car. It has enough grip for her claws and she weighs 80lbs. Its nice that it folds and unfolds but it’s a bit heavier and takes a second to fold and unfold, so just keep that in mind.

    Exactly as described
Exactly as described in ad. My dog, John Luke, hasn’t used it yet but we will conquer that another day. I will use duck jerky to entice him. This will make it easier for him to load up and get up on the bed if need be.He’s getting older as we all are.Thanks. ♥️😈🐻

Great for young inquisitors, not for old nervous dogs
This is a really strong and sturdy item. Unfortunately I had to return it because the item was so bulky and strong, I could not set it up without struggling. I’m in my 50’s and quite strong, but its the awkwardness it that made it difficult. I dropped it on my foot and left myself breathless with pain.My old doberman, who is frail and nervous nowadays with poor hearing, did not like this item at all, he was frightened of it. His body weight is much more than the ramp, but to hold and lift him is much easier and less awkward than the ramp because he cradles into my body as I lift him. Whereas with all the noise, and dramatics of setting up the ramp, and trying to get him to like it, let alone use it, seems too much for me and my old boy. I think this item would be great to start using when your dog is young and adventurous, rather than wait for them to become decrepit and nervous with old age. I have 4 stars because its a good item, but it just a little too much man handling to be suitable for old nervous dogs who have lost their inquisitive nature.

    Great ramp for dogs!
We have 2 dogs and both have issues with their front legs. Our truck sits high so we bought this ramp. Love it!!! The dogs don’t slide on it when going in and out of the truck, and we love that it folds down for traveling. I strongly recommend buying this!

    Ramp love
It’s great my dog loves it, not sure at first, but now he just waits and looks at me like” aren’t you gonna put it out?”

Easy to use for me and my dog!
My 12 year old Heeler has been having trouble getting into the car for a while. I’ve been lifting her and putting her in but it’s started hurting her when she jumps out. I ordered this ramp and was worried she wouldn’t be willing to use it. It folds easily, functions well. The slip resistant ramp makes it safe for my girl. The folded size makes it easy to take with us.

    Sturdy
Husband loves it. Very sturdy. Easy for our big dogs (90lb and 80lb) to use. Even sent the info to a friend!

Very nice ramp but too steep for our older SUV’s
Awesome ramp but unfortunately, the angle was still too steep for our boy who is 12 years old and 120 pounds. We have fold up wide steps like this and were hoping to get something a little easier on him. He was afraid to use it and tried several times and he just didn’t like it and was afraid of falling of the sides. We have a 2015 Nissan Xterra Pro 4×4 and the stabilizing clip didn’t reach to the metal hatch latch to clip it. We didn’t try it in my 2005 Toyota Sequoia because it’s currently in the shop but because of the height of the back, I believe it would be the same issues of being too steep for him and not clipping to the hatch door latch to secure. It is a very nice ramp. The quality is nice.
