With This Vest, You Can’t Miss My Dog
This is cuter in person than I thought it would be. I paid attention to what others had said about size. My Border Collie is 26 pounds, and the Large fit him perfectly. It was so perfect fitting that I didn’t even have to adjust the straps for the neck and around his belly.I ordered the yellow because while he has white on his chest, face, tail, and his socks (legs), he’s mostly black which makes it very difficult to see him at night when we take walks, or when I ride my bike with him running alongside. The yellow really stands out on his black fur. I don’t think the red or orange would have been as bright on his black fur.You would have to be blind not to see this vest in the dark. Not only is the yellow really bright on him, there are little paw prints on the vest that are reflective. Nice touch. Instead of some boring stripe, they kept it fun.As for durability, I think if people take care of these vests, they will last a long time. I would not put this in a washing machine. I think hand washing it, when necessary, would be a better idea, and then let it air dry, as it does feel a little bit delicate.I looked around at all types of vests, lights, collars, etc. to light up my dog at night, and I think this was the best decision. Not only is it really bright, I don’t have to recharge it, or use a battery, or wonder if it will break apart…it just is what it says it is: A bright safety vest for your dog. And the best part, compared to so many other vests, it didn’t cost a ridiculous amount, it was very affordable.

Perfect for a black dog on dark winter walks
Exactly what I wanted. My mom has a black dog and it gets dark super early in the winter, so she walks her pitch black dog in the dark a lot. This vest is great because 1) it’s super easy and convenient to put on – just clip it on over or under whatever your dog is wearing 2) it can be kept in a pocket or bag and pulled out when it gets dark or you need it because it’s very small and compact, 3) the colors are BRIGHT and very reflective 4) it takes up enough space on the dog’s body where you can actually see it from pretty much any direction your dog might be facing/position they’re in 5) you and others can actually see your black dog in the woods or park even when it’s dark 6) it doesn’t blind you or mess with your night vision like led collars or lights.

Super bright, reflective, and durable (long-term review)
Summary:Holds up remarkably well, retains color and reflectivity, and the coverage is just right for year-round wear. The plastic sliders might leave something to be desired, but a quick knot in the excess strap does the trick. Overall, this vest meets my needs and has exceeded expectations. I’d gladly repurchase.Pros:The coverage on this is just right. It’s minimal enough to not contribute excessively to overheating when it’s hot and humid, while still offering plenty of visibility and just enough coverage to protect the dog’s core from being soaked by cold rain. It has yet to wet out in our use (several hours straight of light to moderate showers, some brief downpours).This vest has held up incredibly well to hundreds of trail miles in all weather over ~3 years. It’s been dragged through rose bushes and other brush, rubbed over rocks for several good rolling sessions, and gone swimming more times than I could count. The seams are intact and there are no holes or other signs of major wear and tear. Reflective accents are all still intact and very bright. It even still sheds water! The only sign of its age is some slight fading from the sun, but it’s so minor that I wouldn’t notice if I didn’t have a less worn version of the exact same vest to compare it to. It’s still one of the brightest, most vibrant blaze orange dog vests I have ever seen, with super reflective accents to boot.Con:The only problem is that the sliding adjusters on the straps don’t stay in place. They’re intact and show no signs of cracking, to their credit, but you may have to tie a little knot in the excess to stop it sliding through, depending on your dog’s size. This was a problem out of the box, but it’s a simple enough fix for an affordable vest that was otherwise exactly what I needed. Given that this vest is 3 years old, it’s very possible that they’ve fixed this with better fitting sliders, so it may not even be an issue anymore. I’d give this 4.5 stars if I could, and plan to eventually repurchase when needed (but that will likely be several more years).Note that I do not machine wash it with laundry detergent, only in plain water, so that may influence how well the waterproofing and reflective accents have held up. It gets spot cleaned as needed in the sink with a little bit of diluted, mild soap. As with any other waterproof gear, YMMV widely depending on care.

Works and looks just like pictured
I bought this vest because I have 1 dog who likes to walks off leash with us, and I worry about him in the evenings as it is dark at 5pm. Yes, I can leash him, but even still our leashes are not reflective. What I like best about this vest is it is not noisy. It’s has an elastic strap/clip which makes it easy to get on my golden mix that has a lot of fur around his belly, and it’s not restrictive of his movement. It is light weight but likely helps keep him a little warmer as our nights are getting cooler. It has just the right amount of reflective spots and I think he looks super cute in this vest! Overall: Happy with purchase and would buy again!

Works very well for me!!
This is the 4th one I have ordered. Perfect for a buckskin colored dog which is hard to spot in the woods any time of the year and reflective patches are perfect for when my dog goes out at night and I have to check where he is with my spotlight. (Oh yeah I live in a very rural area)

Nice and bright with reflective paws
These are lightweight and good quality. I have one for each of my 4 pups and they are perfect for our walks both on the road and in the woods. A neighbor even commented how good they looked. I highly recommend.

Not restrictive
This vest fits great. It’s adjustable so I can choose the fit on my dog. My dog is very apprehensive about vests and thundershirts but this one did not bother him at all.

Ich habe die Westen (beide XXL, einmal Gelb und einmal Orange) als reine Warnwesten für meine zwei Schäferhunde gekauft.Der Schweizer hat eine Rückenlänge von 80cm, die Deutsche von ca. 65cm. Wie man sieht natürlich als Regenschutz deutlich zu kurz.Als Warnwesten sind sie aber top. Eine Klasse Reflektion, die kleine Lasche am Rücken hilft ungemein beim Blick von hinten, die Verschlüsse sind haltbar und die Riemen sind elastisch. So sitzt bei uns alles immer ideal. Beide Hunde haben sich frei bewegt und zeigten keinerlei Meideverhalten.Ich kann sie als Warnwesten daher wärmstens empfehlen.
