4 stairs Works perfect with the IKEA Malm
*This is a real and honest review*I’m blown away by the quality of these stairs. I have two doxies so I’ve owned many stairs and ramps- but this is my absolute favorite. They are so soft yet very firm somehow(?) the perfect firmness where they do not lose their shape when my doggos jump on them. They also are non slip and do not budge whatsoever even though they are on hardwood floor. They look great, were easy to put together, and I immediately thought about buying more for other areas of the house. All foam dog stairs are NOT the same- I have had many that fall apart or slump when my dogs jump on them (and my dogs are less than 20 pounds). I don’t know what the secret recipe is but these stairs are the best and they are really reasonably priced! I have an ikea malm bed with no box spring and the four-step is the perfect height for my doxies. Truly a great product, thank you so much to this company! 💕

The Soft Way Up for Furry Paws
I was looking for soft tall steps for our senior chorkie pup to use when climbing up to the bed in our motorhome. Did not want heavy wooden steps. Preferred to have a set of steps that were light weight and easy to relocate when needed. These will work out great for those reason and more.Bought the five step set and it is perfect height and there is a nice width of the steps too. The hide-hole at the bottom left side of the steps is an extra bonus. I can envision our furry baby girl using that when she is scared of a loud noise or what have you during our travels. The package arrived shrink wrapped. Once released from the packaging the foam steps bounce quickly into shape. Note: the add does recommend not to use the steps for at least 48 hours to allow time for the steps to fully expand and form shape. Assembly is pretty simple for the most part. However, it did take me a few minutes to figure out the correct application direction to slide the two zipper heads onto both zipper leads, to attach the top two steps to the bottom three steps. Once I did get that figured out it zippered nicely and the zipper feels strong. I appreciate the zipper as it definitely provides more stability to the over all structure of the steps. The material is soft to the touch but not slick. The quality seems to be better than I expected.I do like that the outer material does unzip and come off so you can wash it and then recover the steps. My dog is almost 12 years old and about 11 lbs.

Nicer than expected
I have a geriatric non-releasable opossum that can’t climb the way she used to & she loved to sleep in my pillows on my bed. I built her a wooden ramp but she seems to be using it less & less. So I’m hoping these will work better for her. It takes her a little while to get used to new things so we’ll see if she takes to them. Either way they’re very sturdy & very aesthetically pleasing. They probably wouldn’t work well for large animals since they are foam. Sturdy foam. But still foam nonetheless. They’re very lightweight which is good & bad. Good bc they’re easy to move. But could be a problem if you don’t secure them properly before your pet uses them. They were very easy to assemble. But in case you can’t figure it out…There’s 2 zippers for no reason. Idk why they did that but bc they did that means there’s 2 ways to secure them. But there’s an easy & a hard way..the easy way is to choose the zipper pull tab that’s facing right. (The front or top that would usually be facing up if it were a zip up hoodie is facing right) that’s the one you’re going to use, so ignore the other one, that one will be tucked away under the closed zipper when you’re done anyway. Then what you need to do is insert the pin (I included a photo of what the zipper’s anatomy) into the back of the pull tab so the two plastic pieces that would usually be on the bottom of a hoodie zipper, are both inserted into each side of the pull tab. THE ZIPPER WILL BE BACKWARDS BUT THATS OKAY.So now you need to zip the connected pieces all the way around, 360° around the stairs so you end up back where you started but on the opposite end of the zipper. however IT WILL NOT ZIP TOGETHER JUST YET! The purpose of this is to get the zipper teeth aligned so then they can be properly connected/zipped going the other way. I know it’s confusing. When you do this it will be difficult to pull bc the teeth aren’t aligned but be gentle w/ it & keep the two stair pieces together & lined up as best as you can so it makes the journey around more smooth & you don’t end up breaking the zipper. Now w/ the 2 pieces connected but not yet zipped, pull the zipper all the way back around 360° the way you just came back to the starting point. & you’ll see that the teeth are properly aligned & locking this time. I included some photos to show you. Voila. You did it!

Great stability and size
I have a taller bed and the 4 step option was the perfect height. I picked this one because the height was the best match for my bed compared to other options out there. The overall footprint for this is good too, it’s very stable, great color. My 9lb 16yr old cat has starting using it, and he looks comfortable going up and down. He doesn’t look concerned or as if he feels unstable on it.Great packaging footprint too, it came in an impressively small box!The zipper to attach the two pieces I struggled with a lot. I had to walk away from it and come back to try again. I finally got it zipped, and have no desire to touch the zipper again. This to me is the only real hurdle with this product, or maybe it’s more of a skill issue on me lol. Other than that, great product. Looks good and is functional. Most importantly, the cat uses it.

Great steps, good quality!
We have a spoiled Chihuahua that sleeps on the bed. This works out perfectly for him to get up and down with ease, Very durable and well made. I did have a problem attaching the top step with the zipper but we ended up not needing it that tall anyway so we use that section for the family room chair.
