Perfect for smaller dogs with pain, health and/or mobility issues.
I just received this product and right away I had no issue getting my dog to use it. I have a 10+ year old Dachshund that was recently diagnosed with IVDD. The vet told me to keep her from too much activity and absolutely no jumping or running. But my dog is very stubborn. I have a short futon, about 1 foot off the ground and she absolutely refuses to stay off of it. When she wants on it, she’s determined to get in her spot.I was very worried she would cause further pain or injury from jumping up and down off the futon, so I decided to try this product. So far it is PERFECT for her. It’s exactly the right height and not too steep of an incline so she can get up and down with ease and it’s wide enough that I don’t worry about her falling off going up or down. It’s also very soft, but incredibly sturdy so I’m sure it’s better for her joints and pain going up and down. All it took was a few times holding her and “guiding” her up and down several times, then using a treat to coax her into going up and down by herself and she almost immediately got the hang of it and is using it on her own now.I’ve bought plastic steps previously so she could get up and down to my bed on her own. They were fine in the past but with her current health issues they aren’t a good fit for her. They are too hard of a material and too steep of an incline for her to use.I’m going to give a little more time and see how this step/ramp works in the long run and if it continues to go well I plan on buying the larger version for my bed so hopefully she can continue to get up and down on her own with as little discomfort as possible and to prevent further injury. It’s also extremely lightweight and easily manuverable. Overall I’m immediately impressed with this product especially at the price point. I would definitely recommend trying it for anyone with a small/medium sized dog that is injured, has pain, mobility issues or difficulty getting up or down on their own.

Wonderful purchase for my Tripawd dog!
I bought this to help my poor three legged Feist. She’s compact, but pretty hefty at about 42 pounds. Getting up onto her daybed was a big jump for three legs, and jumping down is hard on her good leg, plus she has a hard time getting grip on the hardwood floors. I originally bought her a set of hard plastic steps, but they were not stable and had a habit of sliding around. I opened these stairs and they immediately expanded, and even though the directions say 24 hours, mine were fully expanded within an hour. The foam is dense and solid, and the steps have a considerable heft to them. The cover is a soft fabric and the bottom has a lot of little rubber grippy feet. It really stays in place on the wood floors, even when she jumps on or off. I also really like how gentle the slope is. These are not steep at all, and the gently rounded steps work well for short legs. I do wish the bottom step was a bit deeper so she could get all her feet on at once, but that’s a problem specific to a three legged dog and not the fault of the product. She goes down them very readily and we are working to help her become more confident going up. Overall, very pleased with my purchase!

    Perfect for small pets
I have 2 mini doxies that love these steps! I’ve used ramps and and other types of stairs but they were either too steep or cheaply made. These stairs are made of high quality dense foam which is much softer & gentler on my doxie’s feet and legs. They run up and down without any issues. I’ll be purchasing another one to replace the ramp in our bedroom. Definitely a must have for your littles to get up on the couch or bed.

It’s sturdy yet soft .. and I love it. Definitely worth the money
this product has worked very well for my dogs to get up and down off the bed. I would recommend it definitely. The foam is pretty sturdy… and my dogs seem to use it with ease.

    Dog Stairs
I’m so glad I got this for my miniature dachshund. It was so easy to get him used to walking up the stairs. It matches my couch and is a great quality. It’s easy to move around and lightweight as well. It doesn’t move while he walks up the stairs too!

  6. Bob Krause

My dog loves it! So we’re gonna run diagnostic on it
My dog Max loves this step system. We have a super tall bed and it works great. Nice quality and you can unzip the cover to was it. It can be a little confusing when you put the cover back on remembering how it all unfolds, but otherwise it works great.

Bought this for my mom’s senior kitty, she put it against the cat’s favorite chair, and it made life much easier for both of them. Perfect height, a gradual incline, the cover is removable and washable. Highly recommend

These stairs came compressed but puffed out within a few hours and there was no real learning curve, a few treats up and down and that was it. Sturdy and a good height.
