Wasn’t immediately destroyed so I am happy
This item is both larger and flatter than I expected. However my initial skepticism about its flatness was overlooked when, after 24 hours, there was not stuffing and bits all over my floor. I think these unstuffed toys are the way to go with big chewers. My big pup has not destroyed this one in the first day, and I cannot express to you how unusual that is. She loves toys but she loves destroying them more! The texture is somewhat like a microfiber towel. So I dont know how long such a soft material will hold up. But it seems sturdy enough. The binding is a very heavy and sturdy fabric. I’m impressed with the construction. Very pleased

Cute, good size, but very flat with no stuffing at all
This is a decently-sized dog chew toy. It definitely looks like a lobster, although the color is off (it’s more orange than it should be). It has a squeaker inside the main part of the body.Where this only earned 4 stars is the flatness. Yes, the description says there’s no filling, but the pictures are incredibly misleading. It shows the lobster with some degree of stuffing, but it’s completely flat. At this piont, it’s not really a stuffed toy but more of a flat piece of cloth. Because it’s so flat, it’s somewhat flimsy. They advertise this as being a good thing for small dogs, but it’s not clear how something so flat would be better.If the picture was more reflective of the real shape, this could be 5 stars – my dog likes it, but doesn’t play with it as much as other toys that have more stuffing.

Not stuffed, but still a good tugging toy
Our dog immediately started to play and tug with it. Note that the pictures are bit misleading, I thought it was a stuffed toy but it’s actually fully flat. It’s a flat toy that has that crinkle sound when you move it around. Not an issue for us since our dog loves that king of toy. It also makes the squeeker easy to find and packs really small for traveling.

I opened this on the way back from the mailbox while walking our dog. He couldn’t even wait the half block to get home, he wantex it so badly. He’s not even much of a toy playing dog but he does love to chew things. This adorable little libster was a crinkly, squeaky, super fun additiin to the pup’s little pile

Not even remotely durable, but still enjoyable.
Don’t let the low rating fool you, my dogs LOVE these toys. More specifically, they love ripping them to shreds. I got 4 of them, one for each of my larger dogs, and they’ve been having a great time destroying them. I really wish the companies making these toys would stop saying they’re for aggressive chewers when they’re really not. This would be a 5 star toy if they hadn’t claimed it’s so durable. My youngest, a Pitt bull/Rottweiler mix, had a chunk ripped off and was chewing it up almost instantly. He swallowed it before I could even tell him to drop it. 😔 My Doberman loves them so much, she kept stealing them from the other dogs so she could pile them around her like babies… and then systematically thrash and shred them. Once my Pittie got a hold of one, she immediately ripped an absolutely massive chunk out of it. It looks like it was bitten by a shark. I thought these would be like the Tuffy or Joyhound dog toys that have a super reinforced edge and tough fabric, but no, they’re just made to look like those. The material is thin and the edges aren’t actually reinforced. They are great toys for tug and thrashing, though, and my dogs love the crinkles and the squeaker. I love that they aren’t stuffed, so clean up is just body parts, the squeaker and crinkle plastic, rather than fluff everywhere. I definitely can’t recommend these for aggressive chewers, unless under strict supervision, but for light chewers who don’t really destroy their toys, they’re probably great.

NOT AS PICTURED
every so often I’m reminded that I need to better at reading the descriptions of products rather than relying on the photo. Here’s a great example, the photo looks like a slightly stuffed lobster, but the description says no filling/not stuffed. It is indeed completely flat and not at all like the photo. Some reviewers have already posted photos so I won’t add more of the same. While it’s flat, but my bully has had fun chewing on it and loves the squeaker and so far it’s still intact. I removed a star for the misleading photos.

Large Toy for Chewers
Pretty large Toy about a foot or so long. Doesn’t have any stuffing so is great for aggressive Chewers that always tear a hole in toys. It’s stood up toy dog so far and stuffed toys usually last about 15 min, but he’s dragged this around for days loving it.

Not for dogs that like to eviscerate toys but well made.
This is a nice toy for dogs. Specifically, it is a nice toy for dogs which just chew or tear their toys from limb to limb, as it were. My dog, unfortunately, prefers to eviscerate all her toys. Her idea of heaven is a fat toy from which she can get out all the stuffing and them toss around the pathetic rag that remains. I learnt this today when I gave her this toy. She smelt it and tried to lift it up from what is the back of the toy. She could not because… no stuffing to fatten it. She continues to sniff it and nose it around a bit, then walked away. I tried throwing it for her to play but she played once, then went and sat down, deciding it was not worth it. When I tried playing with one of her old rags, she was excited.This toy is well made. It seems sturdy. I think the amount of crinkly stuff is too sparse. A lot more crinkly stuff and a couple more of the squeeze things and dogs like mine would enjoy it as well.
