Rugged and versatile, can be used on its own or with a flirt pole
This dog toy is versatile because you can configure it to play with your dog several ways. You can use it to play a major game of tug-of-war when you hook all pieces together; this toy is perfect for tug-of-war with larger dogs because it comes with a sturdy metal spring that adds a lot of fun, and a sturdy yet comfortable-to-hold handle for the human to use while the dog tugs on the toy. Another play option is to remove the handle from the toy and use the metal carabiner to attach the toy to a flirt pole (flirt pole not included). A third option is to remove all the carabiners and metal hardware from the toy, and play with the shark/rope ball on its own. It’s a great fetch toy when used this way. I throw it for my dog, he brings it back, and then we play tug of war for a minute before I throw it for him again. He loves shaking the shark, too, because the rope ball flip-flops all over the place (see video). My dog just loves floppy toys he can shake and “kill.” Ha ha.Another thing I like about this toy is the squeaker. If the sound in my video works, you can hear it squeaking; the sound it makes isn’t annoying to human ears like most squeakers are. Also, the way this squeaker is made and placed in the toy, it so far has lasted a lot longer than the kind that have the little rubber squeaker built into the bottom of the toy (my dog pulls those out immediately). I can’t see this squeaker because it is inside the toy, but it apparently is an accordion-type squeaker and it makes noise as the toy is pulled on. It’s definitely not a typical squeaker and it is lasting much longer. They way it is designed has prevented my dog from immediately “killing” the squeaker.Overall, this toy has a versatile, smart design and my dog just loves it!

Our puppies fav
Both of our dogs really loved this toy.It also served as a great distraction for our 5 month old puppy while we were working on crate training. We ended up getting second on to put in the tree in our front yard when they go outside to bask in the sun and play.

Gator’s Favorite Toy
I have male Cocker Spaniels (Maverick 7yrs, Gator 1yr). They couldn’t wait for me to get this out of the package. I was really impressed by the heavy-duty spring, the carabiners that screw closed, and the padded handle for me to hold. Both boys love anything that squeaks and when they grabbed the red rope ball and pulled, it squeaks. Oh my gosh! They had to take turns; I needed 2 of them. They played with this toy until both of them were tired out. Gator will go and get it out of their toybox for you to play. I think it should last them for a while.

SUPER tough toy with fun squeaker
This is one of VERY few non-rubber toys I can safely leave my bulldog alone with. He’s an aggressive chewer and destroys nearly all toys that aren’t Kong Black or similar. He has NO other soft/fabric toys that have lasted more than maybe half an hour. But he loves this shark, and despite his very, VERY best efforts to shred it, the worst he’s done is put a couple of tooth holes in the fin. He’s chewed it, shaken it, pounced on it, you name it – he keeps going until he conks out and falls asleep.I like that it has a very comfortable handle so that I can play with it with him, and that I can easily detach it from the chain and handle so he can play by himself. I’m pretty sure this is his favorite toy because every time I ask if he wants his shark, he gets super excited.

Dog loves it!
This is a great toy for an energetic dog with a high prey drive! I can’t wait until Summer so I can try hanging it up in a tree, but my dog is already obsessed just playing with it in the house. She loves the sound it makes when she pulls on the toy, and the handle is nice for gripping.

Hysterical
Made my pitty mix go nuts. The sound it makes is so funny however it was too much for her. She goes bananas for squeaky toys. This one sent her to the moon. Its strong and held up enough. But I had to take it away from. This will have to be for the other 2 dogs. That sound… wow

Perfect for strong chewers!
My dog absolutely loves this! Tied it to a tree, and she spends hours tugging and playing. It’s super sturdy and keeps her entertained while burning off all that energy!
