My oldest has an ESA that is extremely sensitive to the cold and rain. She will absolutely refuse to go outside in the cold and will even attempt to bury herself in bedding to get away. We bought a few other coats but they didn’t quite fit right and the closures were agitating her quite a bit.Since she does really well with her harness, we decided to find one that is put on very much like it. That’s where this coat came in. Of all the ones we found online, this was the best match and the price was pretty good.First of all, measure your pup. I’m glad I read the reviews because while technically fit two different sizes, I went with larger size and it fits her length perfect.Second, it’s very well made. The stitching is great, it’s warm and the outer bits have reflective parts. We picked blue and the color is very nice. The buckles are very adjustable. Only hang up around the buckles are that the excess strap hangs low, but then again she’s on the lower end of the size we bought.Anyways, she likes it. She likes to stick her curly tail under the jacket to keep it warm. My son is happy his dog is warm and it also protects from rain.I do wish the zipper for connecting the leash was a bit longer to accommodate harnesses that go further down on the dog. It works great with her older, regular harness.

One size up for long dogs, good for elderly dogs
Ordered for my Chihuahua/Dachshund mix; he is 12 pounds. We had originally ordered a Small based on the size chart, however when it arrived it did not cover his entire length. We returned the Small and ordered a Medium, which fits him perfectly. If you have a Dachsund purebred or mix, please take this into account if/when ordering or considering your options.That aside, this item definitely does what it says it does. Our dog has had hair loss issues over the years, resulting in the loss of his overcoat on the back half of his body, so during the winter months a waterproof jacket is definitely required for him. The outer shell does not allow rain or snow to soak through, the zipper closure on the back works very well for a harness (or even the collar D-ring to poke through) to attach a leash properly, and the fleece interior lining works very well to insulate and keep him warm. The zipper itself has a rubber lining on the outside, to provide maximum water repellant function in spite of a leash being in use. It also serves to allow the tags to be displayed without having to dig into the neck area to reference them, should your pup run off on you somehow while wearing this.The feature I appreciate most about this item is that putting it on and taking it off is much easier than standard pet clothing. The head hole slips over the head, and the part covering the chest hangs loose while doing so. The fact you buckle it into place independently is a wonderful feature for dogs with joint issues or senior dogs, given that you do not need to guide their front legs into holes, potentially causing them pain or discomfort. This feature alone makes this item worth purchasing due to comfort for your pup, and ease of use for you.The price point for this item is also a benefit when compared to similar items, based on what you get for your money.

Great dog coat!
This coat is so much better than I imagined it would be. Not only does it look great, the fit is amazing. It covers my lab from neck to tail and I love the way it covers her sides as well; not just the top. The collar is great to pull-up high on her neck and I love the reflecting strips on the coat which is great for night walking. It’s so easy to put on and really protects her. Love it!

Very warm and doesn’t irritate underarms
This is my pup’s favorite coat. It doesn’t fit all the way down his back (he is a terrier mix and has a long body like a dachshund), but that doesn’t seem to bother him. The collar has been very useful in helping to keep his ears warm on cold days. My only issue with it was that it had a ~1” gap in the stitching next to one of the latches. I returned it and was sent another with the exact same problem. We liked the coat so well, I just decided to keep it at that point. Fits better than anything else I found, and the mobility he has in this coat is so much better than the stiff coats made by many other retailers.

Cute and warm coat for dog
We got this for our lab mix this winter since the wind can be brutal on walks. We thought she would hate it but she actually loves it. The fuzzy lining is comfy for her and keeps her warm since she doesn’t have an undercoat of fur. I love the pink and reflective outer layer – since she is a black dog, she often disappears in the dark. She’s about 50 lbs so a small lab mix (medium sized dog). We ordered her a large based on the size guide. I’m glad we did because she needed the length from neck to tail. So far (about 3 weeks of multiple times a day use) it has held up well. She has worn it in snow, rain, and wind and it keeps her warm and dry.

She loves it!
Super easy to put on. The chest covering is a real plus as opposed to ones that simply drape over the back. I like the elastic stays that go around her hind legs. They work to prevent the coat riding up and keeps her fully covered. Size small perfect fit for my 12 lb. Jack Russell Terrier.

not for active working dogs, but it’s nice otherwise
I have heelers and they are very active. The jacket almost fit but due to there not being a pleat on either side of front leg, the chest is too restrictive. It impedes movement. This would be great for a dog that doesn’t leap, jump and fly through the air. More for leash walkers.

These are really nice dog coats! I bought 2XL for both of my 60lb golden doodles. I probably could have sized down to XL but the 2XL was on a major deal so I scored both for the price of one! They’re good quality, warm, waterproof & kept snowballs from sticking to their hair when they played in the snow! The straps for the back legs are also a good feature, keeping the coat in place.

It looks good kinda fits alrighty on my dog but it did not last 3 days. Very poor quality, mine tore right around the velcro under the neck. Don’t even know how it happened
