Easy to clean
It’s a good mat. The fabric material keeps litter from being scattered too much while the rubber backing keeps it from shifting around on my hard floor. It fits well in front of our litter box, and since the fabric is some kind of felt-y material, it helps stick to the litter without making it impossible to shake out completely. Very easy to pour the litter off ofI have a cat who sometimes has bladder issues, and he’s peed on the mat a couple times. The fabric on top soaks up the urine very well, so it doesn’t puddle out across the floor, and the rubber bottom keeps most of it from leaking through. It’s also extremely easy to clean: I throw it in the washing machine with some white vinegar and no detergent on a simple wash, and there’s no trace of the mess (no staining or smell). Both the fabric and the backing have already lasted through a few washed + being hung in front of a window to dry, without any cracking or warpingMy only complaint is that when the cat does pee on it, there is some seepage through to the other side, so it’s not ACTUALLY urine-proof – but it’s so little and so minor that it’s very easy to clean. Only a very small amount actually goes through, and I assume even that much only really leaks out when it’s left through the night (cat often pees on it when I’m asleep, so I’m not sure exactly how long it sits). This is still MUCH preferred to the small lake it would be otherwise. I bought a second one to use when the first one is in the wash/being hung up to dry. I haven’t gotten it yet, but the first one works great so hopefully the quality of the second is just as good

Great at catching accidents and washes clean every time
My elderly cat has a habit of not fully making it into the litter box before peeing. So cat pee would end up completely outside the box. I’ve always had litter-catching mats, but they were never easy to clean and would start to smell or get damaged after repeated cleanings. I decided to get this mat because it’s machine washable and I’m so happy I did.I’ve only had it for two weeks or so and already washed it a few times. Being able to toss it in the machine is so easy and it dries quickly. I can have it washed and back under the box before my cat has another accident. It’s holding up well to all the washing and stains come out easily. I bought the beige/cream colored mat, and I was worried about urine stains on light fabric. But so far with regular detergent on a warm cycle the stains have all been removed.My cat still gets litter all over the place, so if you’re looking for something to catch litter this may not be it. I got this mat more for saving my floor from accidents. I would really recommend this.

Beautiful and Functional!
This is really a beautiful littler box mat, just wish it came in a much larger size. Even so it is great as it captures kicked or spilled litter and the smooth surface makes it easy to clear off back in to the box or garbage can. It has some waterproof capabilities, and liquid does bead up for quite some time allowing you to use tissues as needed. I love it is so thin so occasionally after it’s been washed I will use it as a door mat or rug. My external doors are ridiculously close to the inside floor height making any rug that is thicker unusable. So yes to make my world of litter boxe use and door mat use I wish this particular pattern came in the largest size. It’s a great value, and is durable and the only litter mat I buy. It washes beautifully and has many uses, but if you choose to use it strictly as a litter mat, your cats will love being so stylish!

Must-have mat
This is the third kitty litter mat I’ve tried and it’s finally a winner!! I’ve had issues with past mats not truly sticking, and they would slide around and get misplaced. This mat truly sticks in place and is definitely water resistant. My cat has a tendency to ‘aim high’ and any mess that drips over (even puddles) don’t seep through to the ground. LOVE that it’s machine washable. An all around great litter mat.

I have 2 cats who don’t bother to use the in and out on their tray they jump out anywhere. This mat is of a strange but good material, it does catch most of the litter left in their feet, much better than the honeycomb type mats and it vacuums up easily.
