Cute but not sturdy at all
As a regular dog toy, this is a good size and cute. But there is nothing about this that felt like it was for aggressive or even moderate chewers. The trim around the edge wasn’t particularly sturdy and within five minutes of setting it down I had to throw it away because my golden retriever had ripped it to pieces. If you have a dog that doesn’t like the chew and just wants a big soft toy to play fetch with this is a good option but it isn’t sturdy and the shiny, thick plastic on the outside feels like a choking hazard.

Very durable!
If your dog is an aggressive chewer that likes to fetch, this is the toy for them. The material is very durable. The description says it is appropriate for medium to large dogs. In my opinion, it’s more appropriate for large dogs. Medium sized dogs might do ok with it, but only if they are on the upper side of medium. Just pay close attention to the measurements and make sure it is appropriate for your dog. It is a bigger toy.Overall, I rate this 4 out of 5 stars. The only reason why I deducted 1 star is due to the price. I assume we are paying for the durability, but $40 seems a bit pricey to me. I would rate this 5 stars if it was in the $25 to $30 range. If you’re ok with the price, I would recommend it.

Great size for a Large Dog, Light to throw, and Washable (NO Dryer!)
Doggie Football wide disk is as shown and has a thick plastic or vinyl cover on both rounded sides of disk and heavy canvas material around the outside. The Plastic/Vinyl has raised rice-shaped patterns for easier grabbing it appears. The texture of the plastic/vinyl reminds me of the heavy car bench seat covers my grandma had in her old Rambler Classic. This material is durable and we are turning it over to our favorite Husky mix 2-year old. We will update if needed, but it’s a Good Time at the Dog Park so far.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ — One Paw Up, One Paw Down
I had high hopes for this chew toy, but it landed somewhere between “fetch-tastic” and “meh-chomp.” 🤷🏻♂️Bandit gave it a whirl—literally. He only seemed interested when I tipped it on its side and gave it a good roll across the living room like a chewable bowling pin. Without a squeaker, though, his enthusiasm was… muted. (Silent toys are basically the rom-coms of the dog world: nice, but not exciting enough to hold his attention.)Pax? Total disinterest. 🙂↔️ Gave it one sniff and walked away like it owed him money. Might’ve been the rubbery texture—he’s more of a “plush or bust” kinda guy. 🧸Now, to be fair, the build does feel durable. And while the product promises it can survive “rigorous chewing,” Bandit has a PhD in “Destroyology,” so we’ll see how long it lasts. He’s made confetti out of toys labeled “indestructible.” 🧨At $40, I expected a little more wow-factor. We subscribe to a few monthly boxes that cost about the same and come packed with toys and treats—aka, a dog’s dream come true. This felt more like a solo act at open mic night. 🎤We’ll keep an eye on how it holds up, but for now, it’s just not fetching full marks from the boys. 🐾

Expensive and didn’t last very long at all
Lasted about 20 minutes with my 40# doodle and I wouldn’t consider him an aggressive chewer. We played for about 15 minutes and it seemed very sturdy, however, after leaving him unattended for 5 minutes he was pulling stuffing out and eating it. It might be ok for a much smaller dog. Not for us, especially at its current price point of $39. Way overpriced for a dog toy.

If there was a record for shortest time to destruction…
Gus is thankfully an aggressive chewer but not swallower. He took to the toy right away and I was super hopeful that it would last and sadly he had it opened up in less than 2 minutes. He had chewed the black fabric and was able to get a bit of stuffing out.
