Good indoor chew toy.
This is a fun and lightweight dog toy. My dogs enjoy it, but note it is not for an aggressive chewer. My large heeler did fine, he generally doesn’t believe he needs to tear his toys up, but my little heeler who is the destroyer of all things tore pieces of the blue ends off quickly, like she was challenging herself for a new record. The center part with the spikes is a little bit denser and more durable. the ends were softer and more plyable. My dogs still have a great time with it though. And if they’re happy, I’m happy. Even if I am picking pieces of toy up off the ground. The fact that it’s lighter and softer makes it great for an inside toy I can throw around for them. You can also put their favorite treats in the ends. I made a video on that, but I can only share one. For reference, my choco heeler is 50lbs and my little blue girl is 35lbs.

Better for Small Dogs; DEFINITELY Not for Hard Core Chewers
Let me start out by saying this toy is exactly what it says it is. It is not very expensive and is intended for small to medium sized dogs. Those are the only reasons I did not take more stars off. My dog is on the large size of medium (45lbs), and a pretty heavy duty chewer. She chewed one half of this toy to pieces within the first five minutes (not exaggerating).I did put a treat in the end of it and the second half of the toy lasted a full day; she would work the treat out and eat it, but eventually chewed the toy down to the point I had to throw it away because it was too small and I worried she would choke. I think this toy would definitely be better suited to small or extra small dogs, like a miniature poodle or Yorkie. Even a terrier that is a major chewer is probably going to make quick work of this thing. While I am disappointed that my dog was able to chew the toy apart so quickly, based on the price I did not have very high expectations (other toys for “extreme chewers” coat as much as $15 -$30), so I can’t say I am honestly upset about it. Also, the amount of sheer fun my dog had destroying this toy made it worth I mean, she really had a blast with it and it entertained her for awhile as she tried to figure out how to remove her trrat from the end. Bottom line, if you have a dog that is not too serious of a chewer, or that likes puzzle toys but doesn’t chew much, this is probably a good toy for you. If you have an actual “medium sized” dog, like me, I’m going to go ahead and suggest you try a bigger toy; this one I think is just too small and easily pulled apart by hard core chewers. I do think it was a decent value, though, considering the price is under $7. Just keep an eye on your dog if you get them one until you know they aren’t going to pull pieces off and choke on them.

A Great Chew Toy – Maybe Not For Aggressive Chewers…
This little chew toy is a big hit with our twin puppies, and they love carrying it around and chewing on it. They steal it from each other, they like it so much! There are parts of it that are thinner than I’d like, so I don’t leave this in their playpen when they’re alone, for fear of them chewing off pieces and it being a choking hazard. That could just be me, being a paranoid pup mom, but it’s worth noting. They loved the little ‘flossy nubbins’ that look like tiny spikes, and so far they haven’t made a dent or done any damage to the chew toy. Keep in mind, we have small breed puppies, if you have a larger breed, I wouldn’t recommend unless you’re supervising!

Not very durable
This is an ok chew toy for the price. My dogs have destroyed it, but it isn’t some super expensive toy. It’s smaller but good enough for my big labs and it has little nibs and grooves to clean their teeth. I’d rate it higher for dogs that aren’t aggressive chewers. If your dog doesn’t destroy all their toys, then this is a five star option in my opinion. If your dog destroys all their toys (like mine) then this will be another one of those 24 hour toys that I’m sure you’re already all too familiar with.

Strong!
My big boy wasn’t a huge fan of this toy. He is typically a stuffed guy, but he keeps eating the stuffing so I wanted something stronger. This did stand up to his chewing in terms of quality! But the treats do come out kinda quick. If he squeezes it right they all fall out 😂Over all this is a great and fairly lightweight toy for any chewers!

Great dog toy, so far no complaints!
Dog loves it and so far she hasn’t destroyed it, so I’d say it’s more durable than it looks at the very least. It’s light, feels pretty durable, easy to clean and has just the right amount of texture to keep her from really chewing on it until it breaks like she does some toys. Typically most toys within the first hour they’re wrecked unless it’s Kong brand, and even those she eventually chews through.

Puppy loved it but it wasn’t durable
This seemed like a good toy at a good price point. My 10 month old Chessadoodle carried this around as his new favorite toy for a couple of days, chewing on it and dropping it in my lap to throw for him. I was not sure about its durability at first even though the size was good for my 60lb pup. I thought the rubber might not be sturdy, which is why I gave it a couple days. It had endured his chewing and playing so far though. So, I put a large sized greenie in the end and he enjoyed some motivated chewing. Unfortunately, the toy did not survive this level of chewing. It worked well for play and gentle chewing but once it smelled like a treat he chewed off the end. This might work for gentle chewers but not moderate chewers or bigger breeds. I had to throw it away for safety and then take the trash out because he kept trying to get it back – he really did like it! It just isn’t safe for him.
