The hand grip is very comfortable to use. The scoop is made of very sturdy metal and is the perfect shape to get into all the corners of the box. Sifter slits are the perfect width to allow clean litter to fall through, so makes cleaning the box quick and easy.

This scoop is well designed, easy to hold, very strong and works great.1. Well designed – The scoop has slots that are a very good size. They filter litter quickly and keep the “chunks” in the scoop.2. Easy to hold – The handle fits well in the hand. It’s shape makes it easy to grip and it’s coating makes it unlikely to slip.3. Very strong – This is not a wimpy, weak plastic scoop. The aluminum construction makes it very strong and it’s leading edge makes it easy to scrape off litter that’s stuck to the bottom or sides of the litter box.4. Works great – This scoop does everything I want and for a reasonable price.Other things to mention.• There’s a convenient loop on the handle so you can hang the scoop from a hook.• This scoop should last lifetime. After months of use there are no signs of wear.• I’m on the fence as to whether a non-stick coating would help. On the plus side, a non-stick coating would make it easier to remove wet litter that’s stuck to the scoop. On the minus side, litter is abrasive. It’s likely that the coating would wear through after a year on the leading edge.

Probably the last scoop I’ll ever own – buy it for life
This litter scoop is so sturdy. Compared to other metal and plastic scoops, this one is by far the most durable. It removes dried on and/or cakey “mess” very well.It’s also a good size, which is important because I’m able to scoop litter boxes in my multi cat household quickly.It’s also very comfortable to grip and use, though I recommend either using a stool to sit or setting the litter box on an elevated surface to scoop.I have two of these scoops, one will be in use and the other is soaking in a sanitizing cleaner (usually bleach & water). Neither have ever bent, broken, rusted, corroded, chipped, or anything. Highly recommend.

Great scoop. Litter boxes cleaning much faster and easier
This is a great scoop. Purchased the 5” and it’s perfect for my litter boxes. Thought the spacing seems a bit wide it actually picks up even smaller bits of poop. The rounded edge at the front helps pick up the really small bits. It has a smooth front edge which I’ve scraped over the bottom of the box and hasn’t left a mark. It fits around the corners so they get cleaned as well. It has a nice weight, it doesn’t bend, nor too heavy (I’m 77) even when full of litter and the other items. When scooping larger clumps, I use Dr. Easley’s clumping litter, the wider slots let extra litter fall through easily without loosing what you’ve scooped. It doesn’t take any time at all to clean a box used by two cats. This replaces an earlier purchase of a metal scoop which I thought was really good. But this one is much better.I highly recommend this scoop.

Sturdy and easy to clean
Wide and deep scoop makes quick work of scooping the box. I use the walnut shells litter. Works great.Metal Scoop and wood handle are sturdy. We keep our litter box deep and this easily scoops all the way to the bottom of the box without breaking up the clumps.Metal scoop doesn’t scratch our aluminum litter box.Scoop is very easy to clean.

Best scoop ever!
I’ve had cats all my life. My plastic scoop bit the dust. I decided I’d try this one as I liked the fact the metal runs through the entire unit so no fear of it snapping off.I got my 1st one a week ago. I loved it so much I ordered a 2nd one for our other litter box.It made cleaning the litter box much faster. It’s a large, wide scoop and super strong. You won’t be disappointed. Order it!

Nice strong & big scooper, without the grates being too big or too small…
It’s like the litter scoop Goldilocks would like… Not too small, not too big… Not too light, not too heavy… Grating is not too big, not too small… It’s just right!I use Dr Elsey’s cat litter, and use the Catit Jumbo Hooded litterbox, so that might make my opinion of this scooper different than others. I find it catches most small clumps that I have here/there (though, the litter really is excellent at Clumping so that helps). I can shake the scooper without it itself causing the litter clump to break apart. Occasionally when I scoop right after my cat has peed, but don’t see exactly where she did (she creates a couple mounds of litter around the box before she goes, then covers up her pee but continues to build other mounds, so it’s a guessing game at times tbh, lol), that if I hit the middle of the clump, it might stick to the front part of the scooper. However as soon as I dump the contents into a litter bag, I can easily get the stuff off the front. So, it doesn’t just lock on. I make a habit of cleaning the scoop each time I empty & clean her box, and it’s extremely easy to clean it off. I also like that the handle has a decent grip. It’s a perfect size for the box I use, which is pretty big, and with her litter as well.Only weird thing I had an issue with was this…when it first arrived, when I took it out of the plastic I noticed I’d had some black streaks on my hands and some marks on the table I’d set it in. I decided to just give the scoop a wipe with a paper towel, bc I could then see stuff on the scooper. To be clear, it did not seem used or anything gross. It had no odor. I’m not sure what it was but it did take some time to get the scooper to stop marking up my cleaning wipes. Maybe was grease or oil? Not sure. But, cleaning it worked and not had any problems since.So, I do recommend this scoop!

Estoy muy satisfecha con mi nueva palita para limpiar el arenero de mis gatitas! El tamaño es grande y rapido limpio sus areneros, me gusta mucho que se ve muy resistente ya que tengo una gatita que le gusta hacer sus asuntos hasta el fondo del arenero y a veces me costaba trabajo remover la suciedad, con esta palita es muy facil y no tengo temor de que se rompa como me pasaba con las de plastico. Es un poquito pesada perp supongo que es porque antes utilizaba de plastico, asi que me tomara un par de dias mas para acostumbrarme a esta.

Nachdem mir mehrere andere Modelle abgebrochen, auseinandergefallen und unter sonstigen Umstaenden ausgefallen sind habe ich diese Schaufel gefunden. Wahrscheinlich die letzte Schaufel die ich jemals kaufen muss. Durchgaengiges solides Material. Ein Griff der wirklich ein kompletter Griff ist. Tolle Gummierung, gross, gute Siebfunktion so dass auch wirklich alles aus dem Streu entfernt werden kann.Einige Rezensenten haben den Preis bemaengelt. Ich habe fuer die anderen Schaufeln im Tierladen und auch hier bei Amazon auch immer ca. 10€ bezahlt. Hier sind es jetzt 5€ mehr fuer ein absolut ueberlegenes Produkt dass man mir innerhalb von einer Woche aus den USA zugeschickt hat. Wenn ich mir im Jahr drei Schaufeln zu 10€ kaufen muss weil die alle Schrott sind dann investiere ich lieber einmal 15€. Jedenfalls meine Einstellung.

Looking at this scoop the quality is fantastic well worth the money, I was so excited when this cam, yes I know that sounds sad but if something can make cleaning easyer then I’m going to get excited. I used it and it was easy no bending or taking forever.This is great for clumping cat litter and myself I think the holes are to big for non clumping litter everything but big poop would fall.It’s very well made no way will this break like the plastic scoops,Size is about 5″ and its deep, its a good size I personally can’t be doing with little scoops that take for ever to get stuff out the tray, with this one I’ve found 2 scoops and its done brilliant!Perfect for large deep litter trays.This is alot more hygienic with it being metal nothing can soak in to the metal unlike the plastic scoops that hold lots of germs even after cleaning, I think to myself why did I waste time and money on plastic ones I should have just bought this, to cat owners reading this you will not be disappointed its a must have its worth the money you will save loads.
