Best Big Litterbox to hold the little litterbox!
I’m trying to get my house in order, and part of that was getting rid of my cat’s old litterbox. We were keeping it in our hall closet, inside a slapped together wooden box that just looked really bad. I was really excited to get this new piece of actual furniture that would hide the litterbox AND look good. Here are my thoughts:Note: I’ll refer to the furniture piece as the Big Litterbox, and the actual litter-container will be referred to as the little litterbox. Let’s not make it too complicated now.1. It took me about… 1.5-2 hours to put the Big Litterbox together by myself. The instructions weren’t super clear, so there was some guesswork involved. I realized when I was putting the doors on that I installed one of the walls backwards and upside down, which meant I had to take the whole thing apart and put it back together. You can blame part of that on the wine, but mostly it was just that the instructions were a little hard to follow. There weren’t any written instructions, just little drawings (and, like in real life, no option to Zoom and Enhance). I eventually got it done though, and it looks GREAT!2. My cat isn’t picky, thank goodness. She took right to her new space. The opening is also the perfect size! Not only can she easily crawl inside, but the dogs (even the toy poodle) aren’t able to maneuver their bodies to eat the cat poop. A win/win in my book!3. Changing the small litterbox is a breeze compared to how it was before. I love that I can just open the doors and pull it out without worrying about getting a splinter, moving aside heavy pieces of wood, or spraining my back somehow (I don’t know how, but it was bound to happen sooner or later)4. The doors themselves I was a little worried about going into it. I’ve put together enough IKEA furniture to know that these things don’t always line up the way they should. And although in the end I discovered the left door is slightly more askew than the right, I was able to tell easily that it was due to user error. Because of that, I can’t have anything more than a couple pounds sitting on top or else the left door won’t close. But that shouldn’t be a problem if you can get the instructions right the first time (I recommend saving the wine for afterward).5. Litter is gonna get out of the little litterbox because cats have zero manners. That’s just a given. But I’m delighted that, other than just outside the door when the steps out, the litter that does escape the little litterbox isn’t a whole lot, and it’s easily maintained inside the Big Litterbox. When I change the litter, I just use a handheld vacuum to suck up the stragglers. I use one of those honeycombed litter mats outside of the opening to catch rogue litter and that works well enough to keep it off my floors.6. Overall, I’ll award this Big Litterbox with 5 stars. The instructions annoy me, but I think little drawings are the new standard so I won’t hold it against the company. I’m very happy with this product, it’s a great value for the price, it looks awesome in my home, and best of all: I don’t have to deal with that ridiculous wooden box we were using anymore. My cat seems pretty happy about it too, considering she’s stopped peeing on my towels in retaliation for her previously terrible poop space.

Perfect!
Just what I was looking for and matches my other litter box enclosure well. My cats open the doors on it so to fix that I bought a child lock to put on it and now it stays shut while they scratch the inside of the door.

Hard to put together but once done, cats are happy
This product is lovely but it was difficult to put together. Had to drill some holes and use my own tools and figure it out on my own because instructions were very unclear. Once together though, it is nice. Litter box fits nicely and cats love it

Helpful for small spaces
My 4 cats seem to love this. A little too much. We moved and needed this for small space purposes and one of my cats just hangs out in there on his litterbox. They keep going in there seemingly for fun. It’s roomy and fits our larger litterbox.

Durable clean-looking litter home!
We love this thing! We have a stainless steel litter box that fits right into it with a little carpet under it to not scratch the bottom. But it’s so much nicer than having the cat litter exposed.It was super easy to put together. Looks very clean and feels heavy duty. I definitely recommend buying!

Really cute and easy to assemble.
The shelf is really cute, and relatively easy to assemble. The pictures in the directions aren’t an exact match to the cabinet but I was able to figure it out with a little help from my husband. Pay attention to where the holes on the boards are. I am very pleased so far. Now to see if the kitties enjoy their new litter cabinets.

Serves its purpose, quality isn’t the best.
It looks good, litter boxes are an eyesore, however, one of the cabinet doors is already breaking off after just a couple months. Now I don’t use it for storage, it’s strictly for the aesthetic. I just wish the quality was a little better. Still glad I bought it because I love my cats but I HATE having litter boxes out in the open.

Great for small spaces
It’s lower to the ground than I was expecting, so you can see the litter box but I love it. It’s compact and doesn’t take up a lot of space. It seems pretty sturdy when putting it together. I added a motion light.

Arrived few days early which was nice. We t for this box as it’s the only one that fit our corridor easy to building and easy instructions. It came from the USA but all was included and was nicely wrapped. Highly recommended.
