Ear wipes keep my dogs ears clean & fresh
I have a Boston who gets really itchy ears and this product does a great job of keeping them clean so he isn’t as itchy. The wipes are small and thin but hold up pretty well to wiping inside and around the ear. I haven’t had one rip. Each wipe pad has a textured side and smooth side. The textured side grabs gunk well and I can easily wipe out any dirt stuck in my dogs ear. The packaging also helps to keep the wipes moist, I had no issues with them drying out. The smell is not overpowering or unpleasant for my human nose my dog doesn’t seem to mind either. The ear cleaner works well and is also easy to use. Overall, great daily use product.

My Dog loves his Dogtopia Ear Wipes
These Dogtopia Ears have been a total game-changer for my pup, Shorty! He’s never been a fan of having his ears cleaned, mainly due to the chemicals in the wipes I used before. But the non-stinging aloe in these wipes has made all the difference. Plus, I only need one wipe to get the job done, whereas I used to need 2 to 3, which made Shorty a bit squirrely. We have two basset hounds and their ears get DIRTY! These products make cleaning them out super easy. When we heard that Dogtopia was making spa products, we were eager to try them because we absolutely love the brand. Our dogs have been going to daycare there since they were puppies and we have the utmost trust in their love and care for our pets. The products have yet to disappoint! These ear cleaners are effective, convenient, and affordable. I can’t imagine using anything else!

Good Doggie Ear Care Kit. Not alcohol-free!
I’m not sure why, but dirty dog ears have been a bit of a theme for me lately. One of my dogs had an ear infection in one ear (I’m grateful that’s over), and now lately my other dog has been scratching his ears excessively, resulting in scratches, scabs, flakes, and general dryness.So I’ve been on alert lately, religiously cleaning their ears with wet paper towels and q-tips. And then I rinse their ear canals out with an ear solution (a different brand I bought six months ago). This is a routine that neither I nor the dogs consider fun!Also as a side note, one of my dogs doesn’t mind the mechanical cleaning/wipes but hates the solution/rinse, while my other dog is the exact opposite. So note that depending on your dog, and perhaps even the affliction, your dog may have his/her preference. I like both though…the wipes for the outer ear, and the solution to rinse out the ear canal. It just seems more thorough.And once they are both all better; I’ll likely just use the wipes for routine cleaning.So I’m happy to have another bottle of solution, though my other bottle has a tiny percentage of an antifungal (ketoconazole). And the wipes are much better (and probably more sanitary) than damp paper towels. Plus this has aloe in it to promote healing and sooth the itching and aching.One concern is that the listing photos claim the products to be alcohol free. Yet both products have some type of alcohol in them! I don’t mind a little alcohol, since it is a cleanser and disinfectant, and an evaporating agent. But saying that these products are alcohol free appears to be a bad claim. Stars deducted!!!Alcohol doesn’t hurt on healthy skin, so no concern there really. But since I have no idea whether these would sting a scratch or sore, before I use these again, I’ll test them on myself next time I have a small cut. (I think I’ll test my other bottle too…and I’m now kicking myself for not testing sooner….sorry doggies!) So it’s a lesson learned for me. And I recommend you do the same with whatever solution you purchase.

Best way to clean ears
Wet wipes are the best method for cleaning a dog’s ears. And these are specifically for that purpose. We have a Labrador. They are prone to ear infections, so we have to clean his ears often. These wipes are great because there are so many in a canister, and they are easier to pull out than the flat packs of wipes. They are made out of a sturdy material so they won’t fall apart while you’re cleaning, and you won’t have to worry about your finger poking through the material. There is a strong chemical-like smell to them, but you can also smell the mint. Best part, they are MADE IN THE USA.
