Great value-fun, but annoying if you hate tweeting sounds
Great for a cat who is very bored. It needs a silent mode though, the tweeting can get annoying. You can tie a lightweight mouse to the end it rolls by itself and it’s fun to chase. 3 modes with different colored lights, turns off by itself after a few minutes, recharges with a phonetype charger .Nice price.😁

Needs a silent mode where it does not chirp
OMG the chirping sound is ANNOYING! And the rope/string on this toy is very cheap. I burned the end of it with a lighter to make sure it wouldn’t unravel during play. I suggest using this on hardwood or tile floor. It does not move around well on carpet. I did read another review where they suggested to use it on carpet though. So I guess it comes down to preference. I do like that you have the option to have the string on or off. It simply unscrews.

A really great toy that needs to be investigated thoroughly before being attacked
I love how simple yet effective this is. In essence, it’s just a ball that rapidly rotates one way then the other to move across the floor. The movement is very interesting and requires immediate investigation by a cat whenever I start it up. If the movement and flopping around by itself wouldn’t attract your cat, it can also chirp and flash with a colored light. Unlike some noisy pet toys, the sound of the chirping doesn’t bother me at all. There are three modes. The first, with a blue light is a little too active to easily attack, but it does get a cat’s attention very well. The second, purple mode moves the ball around more slowly and makes it much easier to grab and play with. Overall, it’s a really wonderful cat toy.Hair does get caught around the ball easily, but all you have to do is to lift the end of the U-shaped strap from the ball and pull off the circle of hair from the ball’s axles. The only thing that disappoints me is that play can’t be cat-initiated very well. After a couple of minutes, it goes to sleep and then if it’s left alone for more than a half hour, the cat’s assistant needs to turn it on again to initiate another round of play. I wish like some of our other toys that it was fully motion-activated. It just means that this won’t be left on the floor constantly and it will be a little more of a special occasion toy.

Fun and Well-Made, But Interest Faded
This toy is definitely good quality — it rolls smoothly, the LED light is a fun touch, and it’s durable enough to handle some rough play. It really caught my cat’s attention at first, and she was super curious and playful with it for the first few days. However, after a while, she started to lose interest and now mostly ignores it. I think it’s a great toy for short-term excitement or for kittens with high energy, but it might not keep every cat entertained long-term. Still, a solid product overall — fun while it lasted, and it seems built to last!

Dog Loves It—My Ears? Not So Much
I have a Shiba Inu—basically the “cat-dog” of the world—so I figured, screw it, let’s try a cat toy. She loves it! The moment I drop it on the floor, and it starts zipping around, she goes full maniac: chasing it, howling, having the time of her life. That said, there’s one big issue. Either I got a defective unit or the instructions are just way too vague. It makes this constant chirping sound on a loop, and I cannot get it to stop. The box says to press the button twice to turn off the bird call… I tried that over and over until I finally gave up.Awesome toy for the dog—but the constant chirping is driving me crazy.

Zippy Pet Entertainment
Fast-charging, colorful, and ZIPPY! My two bengals are obsessed with trying to ‘hunt’ it. Unexpected bonus: my toddler loves chasing it too! Makes unique sounds that surprised me at first but adds to the entertainment value. What I love the most about this is that it has enough zip to get under the couch (where we would normally lose it) but it will come right back out a minute or two later, all on its own. Amazing for a cat toy. Well-constructed and engaging for both cats and kids.

great toy for dogs
I will say this is not a quiet toy. There are different settings. My cat seem to be kind of scared of it, though which I think is because we have hardwood floors so it makes it even louder the dogs, however love chasing this thing out.

Great toy for cats AND small dogs!
I know this is a cat toy, but my little shih tzu, Gracie, LOVES it. My daughter got one for her cat, who couldn’t care less about it. When Gracie stayed at her house, she went nuts for it, so daughter bought her one. She has since literally loved it to pieces, chewed most of the silicone cover off of it, so I got another one. Gracie knows where it’s charging and will bark for me to give it to her. It lights up, beeps, and rolls around randomly. If it’s not being played with, it beeps and in a certain amount of time, turns itself off. If it rolls under the furniture, it somehow finds its way out. It’s a pretty amazing little toy. Gracie has never been this interested in a toy before. Even when it’s off, as it is in the picture, she will carry it around. She doesn’t seem to tire of it. I can see a long line of these in my future.
