    Ten Stars
FINALLY! A company that understands that there are MEDIUM sized dogs out there! It seems that when ever you look at products like travel dog beds, they are either tiny or huge. What about something for that 30-50 pound dog? Well, this is it. The 30″ x 30″ size is PERFECT for those medium sized dogs out there.I have two border collies, weighing 35 and 40 pounds. We travel a lot, sometimes tent camping, sometimes staying in motels (which now mostly have hard floors) and also staying in rental homes. It’s so nice for the dogs when we can bring a piece of home with us. But car space is often an issue. This dog bed completely solves all of these problems. The dog bed travels in an included long sleeve with a shoulder strap. The bed comes out of the sleeve and is set up literally within seconds. There is nothing to do but place it on the ground and it sets itself up. The bed itself is made of a sturdy mesh. A fitted cover comes with it that attaches (within seconds) to each corner of the bed frame. Truly, set up doesn’t get quicker or easier than this. The bed is elevated off the ground. I didn’t measure mine but it looks to be about 10 inches off the ground (no higher than 12 inches). IF you have a geriatric dog who is not very mobile this won’t work for you. But it works for just about anyone else. The bed is VERY sturdy. My images show both of my dogs on the same bed. Together they weigh 75 pounds and this weight isn’t even kind of an issue. The bed is super sturdy and seems to easily hold this weight. We just got back from a trip were we stayed in a motel with hard floors. My dogs lived on this bed at night. I just received a second one so each dog can have his own. Are my dogs spoiled? Naaaaa.I have to add here that my dogs are trained as puppies what they are allowed to chew on and what they are not. If your dog is an indiscriminate chewer, no bed will hold up and I would include this one. So if you are realistic with your expectations and have taught your dog some basic rules on chewing, I think this bed could work for you.For added cushion and comfort I have added a Chuck-it portable dog bed on top. It too, compresses down and doesn’t take up much space. This combo is working out great! I have shown this in one of my images. It is the blue cushy bed on top of the King Camp cot.I set this bed up at home for awhile so that my dogs got into the habit of using it which they did pretty much right away. At some point it will be folded up and stored for travel, but by then they will instantly recognize it when we are staying in strange places.

    Handy Pet lounge chair
Although my rescue 2 yo pet prefer to lie on the turf grass, my visitor dogs enjoy lounging in this sturdy, airy hammock; easy to clean, portable, (folds up like an umbrella), caution: little human toddler might take over instead. All in all, this is an excellent buy, I strongly recommend this product.

    THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX
My new Mazda CX-5 has a nifty attached mesh cargo cover that rolls out as the hatch lowers, completely hiding everything stowed in the rear. Well, it took about a minute before the cargo cover was commandeered by my sidekick, Hambone (the portly 22# terrier), who hops over the back seat and uses it as a rear-facing car hammock. It understandably isn’t holding up very well, so several months ago I started searching for some kind of 42″ wide x 30″ deep x 12″ high platform to go under the cargo cover — sturdy enough to support Hambone but still hammock-level comfy. If that criteria alone wasn’t impossible to meet, the platform ALSO had to be lightweight enough to be easily removed (and preferably stowed in the car) when I haul bulky items, make Costco runs, and take my wheelchair-bound mom on weekly outings sans Hambone. Well folks, this 65-year-old city girl had literally never imagined the existence of a lightweight, super-portable, folding elevated dog camping cot! In spite of this KingCamp being a bit shorter and narrower than I was looking for, it’s the perfect solution. 100% Hambone-approved.

    It worked in my RV
I bought this to use in the RV, as the dimensions were just right to fit on one of my back seats. It worked well, giving the dog a comfortable place to be while riding for hours. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I had trouble getting the legs to secure in the clip holder, though it did not collapse with the weight of my 15 lb dog.

    The Pup Likes It!
Our little girl pup is 11 lbs, she fits well on the smallest of the elevated dog bed sizes, and she uses it outdoors when we are enjoying the summertime weather. It is sturdy and easy to set up, and the mesh allows air through to keep her cooler. When the weather changes there is a very nice pad that has elastic on the corners to slip over the mesh for a warmer experience. We’ve owned a few of these elevated beds and this one is the nicest, at a very reasonable price.

Great for on the go trips.
I forgot my dog’s cot when I left for vacation. This cot is sturdy, and my dog loves it. Easy to assemble, and it comes with a tote bag.

I take the pad off during the day, while outside in the dirt, then put it on at night for sleeping
This elevated pet bed is awesome in that the base fabric allows much of the dirt to fall through the holes during the day. During our last trip I didn’t even bother putting on the fabric because my dog was so dirty. The dirt brushes off easily. I love that it is basically one piece, just like a camp chair. It doesn’t take up any more space in the storage compartment than what a camp chair does. I can easily move it around where I need to, because it is so light. I can easily fold it up and set it aside if I need the floor space in my camper.I benefit from this more than the dog does. He doesn’t actually choose to sit/lay on it, unless I ask him to. I have him use it when we are outside, because the loose dirt in our camping areas causes him to get major dusty. Having him use this, I don’t have to clean up as much dirt inside the camper.

    Khaleesi loves it
The ground can be cold when camping in the fall/spring but Khaleesi took to it right away. Khaleesi is approx 48 lbs and this is perfect size for her camping chair. It supports her weight with no issues. However if she was using it for sleeping at night I would have sized up so her paws weren’t hanging over the edge.
