A great product. It’s very easy to use and my dog doesn’t look like she’s uncomfortable when she’s got it on. It fits her with the right amount of snug and the handle is the best part. We needed something for the boat, now that she’s old enough to not just freak out, and she was comfortable and visible the whole time in the water. I would definitely recommend for anyone.For reference my dog is 32lbs.

nice and lightweight
This is a nice lightweight affordable jacket. It’s a little stiff and clunky around the neck, but maybe it will soften up with use. The dog would prefer we return it, as he has no intention of swimming. He wears it on a boat. We got the XL for a 55 lb lanky Labrador…it’s a little big but the Large would have been too short along his back.

Great Life vest
I had my doubts when it showed up cause it’s fairly thin… however, it worked well. My female was scared to swim… after a while she got comfortable and it held up with her jumping off the dock over and over again. We picked her up out of the water after she fell off the paddle board and it allowed her to swim around with us when we beached the boat. Absolutely no complaints. The handle worked well and we loved the color and reflective strips on it for her safety.

The size chart is accurate for a dog. Some others I looked at seemed really disproportionate. I bought this life jacket for Beau to wear while on the boat, although we haven’t tried it out yet. Red is very visible in water in case your pet ever goes overboard. I ordered an XL – our dog is 70 pounds with a 34″ chest measurement, the jacket has three easy to adjustable areas, fits him well and he looks very handsome in red. I don’t think the two side pockets would be useful for much as the snugness of the jacket makes them quite thin.
