Purrfect!!
We have 3 cats and have been looking for a traditional box upgrade (not interested in automatic boxes). This one checks all of the boxes. No more litter scattered on the floors, easy to clean and maintain, cats love it. Bonus for me was dust control. No more wiping down the walls in the space it’s in. Great value, size is wonderful, stainless steel gives this a long life. While it is tucked away in the laundry room it’s still nice to see the sleek design.

Sturdy yet lightweight, nice looking, great value, wish it was larger
I received my XL-23.6″x15.7″x15.7″ PWTAA steel cat litter box today. I purchased it for my Maine Coon kitten and elderly cat. I’m quite impressed with so far. It’s well built and looks like it will prevent the cats from jumping out from the back and sides. I detect some flex in the metal, but think it’s a good thickness because it still feels sturdy, yet it’s fairly lightweight. I like the stainless steel because it will be more sanitary and I won’t have to replace a plastic litter box every year. I won’t be using the included scooper – I think it’s more sanitary to use the Booda or Petmate Scoop N’ Hide. The front entrance is very tall for my elderly cat, so I’m trying out a 2.5-inch high Bsadne Cat Ramp. I put the small mat that came with thr PWTAA litter in top of the Bsadne ramp. The dimensions are as advertised. It seems narrower than zi thought it would look, but cats are very bendy, so I think they won’t have trouble turning around. A 14-pound bag of Fresh Step non-clumping kitty litter fits perfectly in the box, so I won’t have to buy the heavier bags anymore.The only thing I’d change about the PWTAA stainless steel litter box is to add a lip that the top or bottom part seats into. With the current design, the edges that mate together are completely flat, so I have to align and hold them in place while I secure the 2 side clamps. After the clamps are secured, it holds together very securely. It’s a bit of a nuisance, but not enough to make me wish I hadn’t bought it. Other than this, it’s perfect and a great value for the money.Also I’d make it wider for big breed cats, or make a new XXL size.For perspective, the photo shows a 16-week-old Maine Coon kitten (weighs 6 pounds). Looks like it won’t be big enough for when she’s full grown.

The best litter box ever
The best litter box there is, hands down. My cats got used to it fast, if you have a less mobile cat they may need a step to get in.This thing is awesome, I have a male cat that does not squat when he pees and this catches it perfectly. No smell can attach to it because it’s stainless steel. Very easy to wipe clean.Pair this with a wood litter (Catalyst) and your home will smell much better.Yes, it took about a month to receive but I got them. Well worth the wait.

Perfect solution to the “standing” cat
My sweet, gentle rescue cat is tall and stands when he urinates. After trying high-sided boxes (not high enough!), stick-on screens, and all sorts of creative positioning, I found this litter box. Perfect! Easy to clean and completely ended the spraying mess. Well worth the price! I did buy a small step for my cat to use, since the opening to the box requires a long step up. Cat adjusted with no problem.

Excellent litter box
This litter box has been a great solution for litter tracking. The litter box has to go in my bathroom, and I was tired of litter being all over the floor. Imagine getting out of the shower and stepping in cat litter! With the high sides and the little step inside litter tracking is reduced to almost nothing. It is easy to clean and the litter sticks to it less than in the old plastic litter box. My cat is one of those high pee-ers and the litter box is well sealed to prevent any leaks. Great product and worth the money.

Tall enough for even giant cats
We had to switch to metal box because the pee smell from the plastic ones was really getting old – we used plastic totes because we couldn’t find big enough litter boxes for our male cat who likes to pee vertically. How he does it we have no idea but we need a TALL box or a lid. Anyway this box is tall enough he doesn’t pee outside of it AND because it’s metal it doesn’t hold onto the smell. I wish it had a lid but so far he’s peeing in the corners. Oh I also wish it was one piece or had some type of seal between the top and bottom but it’s easy enough to keep clean as we do that daily.

Best litter box ever!!
I wish I’d discovered stainless steel litter boxes sooner! This one is easy to clean and doesn’t hold odors. One of my kitties aims too high when he pees, and the high sides contain the problem. The latches hold the top securely to the bottom, and there has been no urine seepage. That is a big plus over the 2 piece plastic pans! The extra cost is well worth it! And the stainless steel is more attractive than the plastic pans. I have 5 cats and 7 litter boxes, and I’m now replacing the last plastic pan with another one of these!

I’ve found the best litter box for large cats.
This is the best litter box I’ve ever tried! I now have three of them. The size is perfect for large Bengal kitties. My kitties have their claws, so I don’t use a liner. I find scooping litter every night before bed to be my routine. Scooping is easy. I use a metal scooper. Approximately one large bag or bucket will fill this litter box and will last us about a month with regular cleaning every night. (I save my plastic grocery bags to scoop the waste into). I purchase 3 buckets of scoop-able litter each month. The sides are high enough to catch high waste (No waste on my walls! Yay!). I have one in my bathroom, one in my laundry room and one in the basement by the back door. We don’t notice horrible smells. When there is really yucky waste on the inside walls of the box, I’ll use a sanitizing wipe and wipe it down, or a Norwex cloth to wipe it down. I wash the whole box out once/month in the shower. The box is large enough that it won’t fit in the dishwasher . . . bummer. I highly recommend this litter box for large cats.
