Sharp, But Jewel Is Corny
I have a border collie mix and the only way to keep up with her shedding is to trim up a bit every week when I brush her. I don’t do a full grooming or anything and mainly just clean up the back of her legs where it grows really fast and I’m definitely not a pro. So my review is from the perspective of an amateur dog owner just hacking away not wanting to use my good human hair cutters, nothing fancy. But for my purposes they work great. They’re sharp right off the box and so far have held an edge well enough. I haven’t sharpened them yet and that will be the real test in terms of how well the steel used will sharpen up and hold the new edge, but I’m optimistic. The only real downside is the corny jewel, but that’s just looks, so no big deal.

super sharp
These scissors come super sharp and quality is great. I cut my dogs hair so not professional. I know that they recommend not buying cheap scissors, but there are some cheap brands that are recommended if you need to go that route. Well I originally did. I thought they were good. I thought wrong! Using these are like night and day. They come out super sharp, and no adjusting needed. They have a note saying no need to adjust them because they do it themselves before sending them out. If you have dirt cjeap, cheap,, I recommend trying this brand and you’ll be pleased. Cute pink case with a cloth to clean

Super sharp
Honestly, I got these for people hair cutting. They are super sharp! I’ve cut my fingers a little but nothing serious. Just be careful. They are very comfortable to hold. A bit larger than my last pair. I did use them for the dogs and they work well for them. Definitely recommend. A bit more expensive but seem to be well made and, did I mention, super sharp.

They seem good so far, but I don’t like the little fake gem on these curved shears
Our rescue Maltese dislikes going to the groomer, so we do our best to groom her ourselves at home. We have another curved pair of scissors but figured it wouldn’t hurt to have a second pair. So when I saw this FENICE TOTEM pair, I ordered it. It arrived in what I would describe as a zippered lilac-colored case with straps inside for holding the scissors. There is a weird fake jewel / stone in the middle of the scissors that made it difficult to remove the scissors from the straps. The jewel kept getting in the way but I did finally get the scissors out.Upon using them on our dog, they felt sharp and like they were doing a good job of removing some of her hair, but the jewel in the center of these scissors makes them feel gimmicky to me and I’m not sure I trust the quality. I’m hoping that if they go dull following several uses that I’ll at least be able to sharpen them myself. I do like that they’re curved, however, which is better for trimming our dog’s head, rear and legs.As of right now, I’m happy I ordered these. Time will tell how long they’ll hold up.

Nice scissors that are sharp and cut well.
Nice quality shears and work estremely well they are sharp and I don’t cut the dog with them but they seem a little spendy to me.

Tangled in dog’s hair
I must have missed something because I found these absolutely unusable.They feel like they are very high quality, and I fully expected to be impressed based on how they looked and handled… then I tried using them on my dog, and all they did was tangle in his hair. Maybe it was the double coat? Maybe I just don’t know what I’m doing? I don’t know, but they were absolutely unusable for me. So sad.
