better than I expected
My little kitty house arrived today, just in time for the really cold weather we’ll be getting. I am very impressed. It was so easy to put together, just two zippers, one on each end. The thickness reminds me of a good quality insulated lunch box. I put one of those self heating thermal mats inside, nice and fluffy and cozy. When we went to feed her, for the first time in a while she was purring. I take that as a paw approved shelter.

Cute and effective
I love in an apartment and there is a cat colony that lives here. I always feel a little bad for them when it’s cooler so I bought a couple of these house to help. It’s a bit flimsy but for the price, I find it great. If holds shape will enough. Don’t know about waterproof yet.

Does the job, but needs to be secured
First off, I disliked that it came partially rolled up in the box from Amazon. This made it a little lopsided in the way it stands as a triangle (one side of it is a little smushed in). It should be shipped flat. It was very easy to put together: the front and back simply zip up & around. I bought a self-heating pad for the inside and a boot pan (for wet weather) for the hose to sit on to keep it dry underneath. The straps are located on each side and one in the back, but no stakes! I’m going to use gorilla glue tape or glue to hold it to the boot pan. This is for a neighborhood stray and its still too warm where I’m at for him to use it.

Picky Cat Approved
My cat likes to spend a lot of time outdoors, but he didn’t like any pet shelter until this one. I added a self-warming pad he snuggles into. ($11 on Amazon). It’s on our covered porch, so the rain and snow won’t hit it. It would not be very “waterproof” with an open door port. Great for our needs though, and it’s holding up great to a very large cat.

I didn’t like that my cats didn’t like it, though it is cute. I hope one day they will get cold and use it. It doesn’t get very cold here. I live an hour Northwest of Houston.

The cat used it, however was apprehensive. A back flap escape hatch would be better design.

Keeps ‘em warm
One cat fits in here, I put straw inside for cushion and heat retention. I also elevated it because I felt it would be better than on the ground (warmth). There are anchoring loops also.

Nice product
Nice product. Seems well made. Some reviewers said they had difficulty with the zippers, but I had no difficulty with the zippers, just took my time and worked the zippers through the curves. My cats haven’t used them yet, but there’s still time.
