Great shirts….sizes got bigger
I have a 25 pound beagle/jack russell and ordered two of these shirts several years ago and they are finally wearing out because of his scratching his itchy skin. He has an 18 inch back and the original shirts were xxl and fit perfectly. The same size and style I reordered were made bigger and I had to return them. If he was a girl dog, I would have just kept them, but he will pee all over the belly part when he goes. I reordered an xl and hope they fit.

Good Fit – Unknown Composition – Odd Care Instructions
My dogs like clothing. All of them. The nature of my dog clothing reviews has changed as they actually seem to prefer wearing clothing. They even seem to behave better when wearing clothing. It’s strange.I’ve discovered there are some significant differences in pet clothing–especially it seems pet clothing that is delivered by Amazon. All pet clothing I bought locally–and it came from multiple stores and there are about a dozen pieces–was tagged and labeled as if it were human clothing. Beyond the normal and required country of origin tag, there is a “universal care and handling” tag as well as information that identifies the fiber contents of the material used. All of these things–to include the required country of origin tag–can be utterly missing from pet clothing delivered by Amazon.This product has zero information regarding its composition. It has zero care information. It is merely marked “CHINA” and “XL.”The product description at the Amazon website presently says “100% cotton” but there is no way to confirm this given the product received to include its packaging. There is an attached care tag bearing the “fitwarm” name but the car instructions do not seem a bit unusual for 100% cotton. “Machine wash cold” “Wash in wool cycle” “Tumble dry low.”I laundered it on “cool” as I do nearly all of the other dog clothing and tumbled it dry on “low.” There was no noticeable bleeding, fading or shrinking when laundered with other similar items nor did it pucker or distort.It was wrinkled similar to cotton and to the feel I would call it something like a rather coarse cotton T-shirt that will likely soften with wear and repeated laundering.Fit was exactly what I expect given my known good measurements of the dogs.Note that I dried this on LOW heat. In my foreign travel experience T-shirts of similar feeling and looking material are well-known for shrinkage problems when subjected to typical American laundry practices, i.e. dry cotton on HOT.The overall rating is lacking two stars for the two missing pieces of information that I do deem important. Some may well consider it so important that they will not consider putting it on their pets. I have no reason to believe this product would be of any harm to any “normal” healthy animal who doesn’t mind wearing clothing.

I bought these for my 19 year old JRT only because they are 100% cotton. Nearly all the others are a blend of man-made fibers that end up smelling awful no matter how often you wash them, no matter if you disinfect or make other efforts to get rid of the odor. 100% cotton is the only way to go. They are a tad small…all these dog t-shirts seem to run really small. I got the largest they offer, and it’s still a tad tight on my 15 lb JRT.

So soft!
I bought these for our older short haired dog. They fit fine and the material was soft and not scratchy at all. The fabric has some stretch and is a nice weight also. ( not too thick but not too thin either). I would definitely recommend them!

Poor quality
The shirts are of poor quality ruff material doesn’t feel like cotton! Not soft at all and size seems to be a little off as I have bought these shirts before. I won’t be buying these dog shirts again. This seller is slow to ship took over 1 month before I received the dog shirts.
