Great for cats who wish they could eat birds
My cat tends to love tearing apart fake birds, and this toy is no exception. She had a blast with this and went right to work chewing, biting, kicking, and grabbing this toy. It makes a bird chirping sound and flaps its wings. It is different from other toys like this because it has a stretchy cord and a hook to hang it. I placed this dangling from my window shutters and my cat loves it. Its rechargeable which is awesome because it would go through batteries fast if not.Even though this cute toy looks nothing like a real bird, my cat enjoys it.

Nice Quality, But My Cats Just Aren’t Interested
I really wanted to love this flying bird toy, and it’s definitely well made. The flapping wings and chirping sound are realistic, and the USB rechargeable feature is super convenient. It feels durable and looks like it should be a big hit.Unfortunately, my cats just aren’t interested. I have two cats (aged 4), and neither of them seems particularly intrigued by it—even when it activates. I’ve tried hanging it in a few different spots to catch their attention, but they mostly ignore it.It’s disappointing because the toy itself seems thoughtfully designed and high quality. I think it could be great for more playful or curious cats, but mine just didn’t take to it. Still giving it 3 stars for the solid construction and concept.

Fun for the whole furry fam
Very cute and fun for dogs or cats. It has a very life-like flapping pattern, although it is hard to reactivate from the “stunned” mode at times. I love that you can recharge it, and that it has an internal on/off switch under the plush lining to conserve power. The switch and charger insert are a little tricky to reveal, without pulling the plush liner off the bottom of the power pack, but it’s sewn well enough to withstand that action. A fun little enrichment activity – we shall see if it helps mitigate or increase how many live birds the cat brings home.

Her new favorite!
We had so much fun playing with this new cat toy this evening. It had a good charge when it arrived, and we drained it in about two hours. It’s currently on the charger. She loves the flapping wings and bird chirps. It’s attached to an elastic string, which allows it to bounce. She got it away from me, carried it away to toss it around. I highly recommend this toy.

Don’t waste your money
I got this for free. It’s not worth free. It is about the cheapest thing you can imagine. Other than the chirping sound (which is actually pretty good) it just flaps on an elastic cord and terrorizes your cat.

It flaps but does not fly
As is the case with all cat toys on Amazon, I don’t write the reviews. My cats do. If you have cats you know that we, ignorant humans, may buy the most expensive playthings for our furry friends, but they might prefer a free shipping box that they can turn into a feline fortress for hours of endless fun.Although this bird toy may seem fluffy and soft, know that its core consists of a hard plastic motor the size of a USB wall charger that makes the wings flap. You have to open the velcro in the back to find the on/off switch, as well as the USB-C slot to charge this bird.To be honest, all this thing really does is make a chirping sound and flap its wings. It “flies” as much as a chicken. I would name it a “Flapping Bird Toy,” instead of a Flying Bird Toy. Once activated, the wings will flap for about 10 seconds and then it switches over to standby mode. Once the cat slaps the toy, the flapping will begin again.This toy works best if you hang it up, but the elastic hanging rope is rather short, unfortunately. If you’d hang it from the top of a door, the bird is out of reach, unless your cat likes to jump. Initially our cats were curious, but that did not last long. They’re much more interested in a simple laser pointer that makes unpredictable movements, than in this bird that’s just moving it’s tiny wings up and down. But like humans, all cats are different and your pets might fall in love with this rather sad looking feathered creature.

Fun toy, but Not for Every Cat
I really liked the idea behind this toy, but it’s loud, erratic, and definitely gets your attention. The flapping motion is wild and unpredictable, which might be great for high-energy kittens. I also appreciate that it charges via USB instead of needing constant battery replacements. However, my own cats weren’t fans. The noise and sudden movements seemed to overwhelm them, and they kept their distance. I can see this being a hit with more playful or fearless cats, especially kittens that are still exploring and curious. Just keep in mind that it’s a bit chaotic and not every cat will enjoy that level of stimulation.

Cute Cat Toy
Cute. Rechargeable with the provided cable. The only thing is it’s kind of heavy due to the mechanics inside but my cat loves it and it’s not too loud or annoying. There is an on and off switch as well.
