This is our second buy, but an addition, not a replacement.
We bought this a year ago for our 70lbs pound Labrador Retriever and use it at least one weekend per month when we go camping. The first setup was a bit of a challenge. But once you figure out how to click the feet on, it’s very easy and super convenient since you can pack it up and store easily. He loved to hang out or take a nap on it and while the legs do sometimes pop out when he jumps on it, it’s not broken yet. We now have a second dog, and got him the same one because he seems to love it as well and they have starting using it both. It does not hold two dogs of that size, but we while we first felt it was quite a high prize we have now changed our minds and think it’s a great deal for all the comfort it brings our dogs.

    Lightweight dog hammock
It has taken about 3 weeks for Mila to get used to laying on this hammock bed, and it took a little convincing at first. My husband put it together and he had to read through the directions several times. I don’t have a lot of confidence that we will ever be able to get it back in that little carrying bag, but it’s very light and we can just toss it in the camper. Mila has figured out that she gets airflow underneath when it’s hot out, so she’s a fan. We bought the extra large size for a 70 lb German Shepherd.

Good quality but difficult to assemble
I got this for camping since it’s compact. The quality was nice but I had a really time getting it to snap together. Not sure if mine was slightly too small or if it’s a design flaw. Ended up having to return the item since I bought it to make things easier not harder while camping.

THIS is THE bed for cooling dogs
I loved everything about it. My Pomeranian sleeps hot. This is the most cooling bed I have ever purchased. We keep the inside of the house cold all year round. (NEVER over 68 degrees in the night time) It takes strength to put it together. My dog sleeps better- though not perfect. He has been restless since birth and going on 12 years old in September. (Like having a new born for a dozen years.). Still- at 18 pounds he has adjusted comfortably to this bed.

Over-engineered; never got it to work
Too strong and well built. Two of us together could not get the final piece to lock in, it was less than and inch and no go. We will be returning this item. Either someone measured wrong, or two different companies made the separate parts, or the mesh shrunk, or…?

    Couldn’t Get It Assembled
I love the concept of this bed. It’s a decent for a medium sized dog. I loved how small & light. This was going to be a bed for my senior dog when we take the RV out so she’s not lying on the cold, hard ground. However, I couldn’t get it assembled. I watched the video many times, but trying to get the latch to connect was impossible. The width of the fabric was too short to reach the foot bracket. I’ve put together these beds before and know you need tension to make it work. I pulled with as much might as I dare (honestly didn’t want it to break and injure myself) and I couldn’t get to reach. It wasn’t worth it to keep fighting it. So I returned it.

Ultralight at less than 3lbs, for 75 pound dog
Love the fact that it uses the highest strength aluminum available (7075) and is super light and compact. We just used it for the first time on a 4 day camping trip, and our dog loved it. My wife sewed a fleece cover for it that cinches under the frame to make cleaning even easier.Long term, I am a little worried about some of the plastic construction at the joints, and the small size of the bottom strut which has a bend in it when assembled, but only time will tell on those.

    Great item
Others have commented how hard it is to assemble, but I appreciated how durable the pieces are and felt better knowing they wouldn’t ‘pop’ out of place under the weight of my pup. I was impressed with how it didn’t sag under the weight of my 95 pound Great Pyrenees. Unfortunately, the sizing was too small for him to be able to lay on comfortably. If this came in a bigger size…it would have been perfect to keep in the RV.
