Tired of throwing the ball … here’s a new idea
This is basically a slingshot where the ammo blunt lawn dart. My dog will chase a tennis ball for as long as we’ll throw it. I get tired of throwing before she gets tired of running after it. Also, I’ve got a shoulder issue. If I try to throw too hard or too far it’s painful. I decided to give this a try. It works pretty well. I don’t think I can get it to go 120 ft but it does fly pretty far … usually … occasionally I pull a little off-kilter and the dart head or fins hits the ring. The dart seems fairly sturdy. I wouldn’t categorize my pup as an aggressive chewer but it’s standing up ok so far (… I don’t really let her stop and chew on it ). I will say that while the top of the dart is a hard rubber material, the body and fins are a hard plastic. I think if you let your dog chew it (especially an aggressive chewer) it could damage the plastic parts. I do wish it came with a second dart in case one get’s damaged … or even just to speed up play with my dog. It’s fairly portable. It’s too big to put in a fanny pack but I usually carry a small backpack to the park, and this fits easily. You can clip it to a bag of any size (or even a belt loop) and it comes with a carabiner to do so. Overall, I like having another game to play with my pup.

There’s better options
It does not go 120ft like it describes. The arrow isn’t durable. Dog chewed right through it. Not comfortable when trying to shoot it don’t know which way to make sure your doing it right. End of story lasted 5 mins now I’m stuck with this no arrow and I am not buying a replacement almost half or what I purchased

UPDATED: Band Broke
UPDATE:The band broke after just a few uses. Try a different fetch toy.Original review: The arrow of this toy is made of tough plastic, and is easy for the dog to grab on the thin shaft. Tennis balls are too large for some dogs, this toy solves that. I hope the plastic is tough enough to stand up to the dogs teeth. It has worked for a couple of sessions so far, there are not even any bite marks on the shaft yet. The bright orange plastic is easy to see in grass or dirt.
