   Great Stand “Perched” To Be One Of My Cat’s Favorites
   It seems like a lot of products I’m interested in these days use cheap wood that is cut using automated systems like laser cutters. That’s a good thing because the cost of manufacturing these things is very low and therefore the seller can offer that product at a very competitive price.That’s the case with this cat perch, the wood parts are made this way but the mattress is in another category that I will get to momentarily.It’s too bad the manufacture did not take the wood parts to the next level. If you feel the edges they are very sharp, all of them could have been sanded to a nicer feel. It’s interesting that another product I recently acquired was made in this fashion but the makers brought it to a whole new level by including sandpaper and paints making it an art project. The whole experience was so much fun. Unfortunately this maker did not do that but that’s OK. I’m a woodworker and I might do a little sanding and maybe even stain the untreated, raw wood.The mattress is beautiful and plush, it seems to be made from really nice material that I would fall asleep on if it was my bed pillow. It is zippered and easily removed to wash.All the downside points I mentioned really don’t matter because this perch is priced at $24.00, which is a very good deal for what you get. The innovative design that allows the support blocks to slide to accommodate different windows sills is brilliant. I had to cut mine down because the molding stuck out too far on my 1908 window and prevented the block from hitting the wall, that was an easy fix. I was really happy that I was able to modify the metal L-brackets that slip into the window sash. I installed the perch on a circular window and by removing one screw I was able to rotate those brackets to follow along the curve. Anyone who might consider this on a curved window will be glad to know you can easily do this.I am so happy with this cat perch, even though it is raw wood and finished a little rough. You can’t go wrong with this very nice perch at a great price.

   Does the job.
   This cat perch was fairly easy to put together. The text was extremely small, however. I felt like a key part of the instructions were missing and that was “how do you properly fit it to your window?” You see, it doesn’t mention anything about it. Not “what would be considered not safe, secure, not an appropriate window type…” It’s like you have to buy it to see if it happens to work. With no instructions on this, I referred to the pictures of the product page and determined the metal lip should rest in your window seal. However, as you can see with my window type, there is a large space between the window and the wooden ledge lip. Is this how it is supposed to be? I don’t imagine so. The product pictures don’t show this. Does it feel secure? Maybe? Still worries me what kind of support it really has if it is only relying on the metal piece that fits in the window. They should show various window units and clearly state what is and isn’t safe for installation methods on the window. I feel like this is the most important part. Other complaint, the instructions have the bed flipped opposite of what you would actually want for your cat. See how there is the border she is up against? That’s because I unzipped it and laid it on top because otherwise my cat would be hanging off the edge. Rotate the metal bars before you add the wooden pieces. Overall, my cat does enjoy it. Do I think they could have better instructions? Absolutely. I also second some one else’s review that describes these wood pieces like craft wood you’d get from the store. The wood pieces are meant to slide inside. It’s the equivalent of a dresser drawer but wood only for both pieces. No metal bar to fit the drawer inside. Just wood vs wood so it’s likely to wear down the more you slide it.

   Good design and quality, very solid.
   Good quality perch but might not fit all windows, please read on.Was very exited to order this perch even though I knew that the wood was unfinished. And in person the wood is of decent quality but too light and looks too rustic for our house. So I stained it, no big deal, five minutes of my time. It takes the stain well in case you decide to do the same.Assembly was not too difficult but longer and more involved than I anticipated. Make sure you read the instructions. At first I was going to wing it but had to refer to the provided schematics a couple of times. When assembled looks very nice and feels solid. One of our cats is 18lbs (not fat at all, just big) so all their equipment needs to be well built and this perch fits the bill.Our house is quite old (over 130 years old) and though the windows were replaced, the inside casings are original to the house. All windowsills are very narrow, about 3.5″ and to fit right, this perch needs at least 4.5″ windowsill. I managed to make it work and it was not that difficult but would have preferred to have a normal fit to begin with. Nice plush washable pillow is very securely attached to the base so there is no risk of it slipping off or falling.So to sum it all up, if you have a standard contemporary window – lovely perch, great buy, both you and your cat will be happy. It you’ve got custom or antique windows, measure first – it would be a real bummer if it does not fit after about twenty minutes of assembly process.

Ogni pezzo e’ singolarmente confezionato in maniera tale da non subire urti durante il trasporto.Descrizione dell’articolo:Questo cuscino da davanzale per gatti e’ davvero bellissimo.Ma procediamo per gradi…Il montaggio è stato semplicissimo perché oltre al manuale d’uso con le spiegazioni, su ogni singolo pezzo di composizione del cuscino e’ presente una lettera (E-F etc).Basta assemblare le lettere seguendo le istruzioni ed il gioco e’ fatto.Nel manuale d’uso sono presenti anche i disegni, che spiegano come montarlo. Anche se sinceramente non c’è n’è il bisogno perché farlo è veramente un gioco da ragazzi.La base e’ in legno abbastanza resistente oltre che veramente carina a livello estetico. Sulla base in legno, si infila una base in plastica resistente di colore grigio scuro (che ne rappresenta la base per il cuscino in stoffa).Il cuscino in stoffa e’ di colore beije, morbidissimo, comodissimo e lavabile in lavatrice.Il cuscino può essere agganciato ad esempio ai davanzali delle finestre o ai termosifoni( come ho fatto io).La struttura presenta nella parte anteriore delle levette in ferro che permettono alla struttura stessa di rimanere ben salda e nella parte posteriore due strutture in legno che camminano su una guida e hanno delle viti che permettono alle strutture di agganciarli bene a termosifoni etc rimanendo stabili.Insomma, oltre che essere comoda per il tuo gatto e’ veramente bella da vedere, un vero e proprio oggetto d’arredo.Approvatissima!

   This cat perch arrived in a sturdy, branded cardboard box.Assembly is straightforward and takes about five minutes. Everything needed is included in the box.The perch can be used with or without the included cushion. This simply attaches to the base with a zip at either side so it can be removed easily in hot weather or for cleaning.The perch has two narrow steel hooks at the back that hook over whatever you’re attaching it to and then the front wooden supports slide back and are locked in place with thumbscrews.We don’t have a suitable slot for the steel hooks at the back of our window sills but I realised that when I ordered it. Instead, I’ve hooked it onto a radiator (see pictures). It will hook onto any suitable vertical edge up to about 6½” wide.Although it’s the middle of summer and the radiators aren’t on the Princess discovered the new bed almost immediately and it’s become her new favourite spot, especially in the afternoon when it gets the sunlight. Her brother is more wary of new things and I haven’t seen him on it yet but that may be because his sister’s claimed it!She is quite a small cat and she almost fills it (see picture) so I’m not sure if this bed would be big enough for very large cats.This cat perch is easy to assemble and sturdy once it’s fitted properly onto some sort of vertical edge. It’s already proved popular and I imagine this will be even more so in the winter when the radiators are on! At £19.99 I think it’s reasonably priced when compared to what’s available in the local pet store so it gets 5 stars.

   Lo primero es que es super fácil de montar!! Literalmente me ha llevado 5 minutos montarla.A nuestros gatos les encantan tener camas en las ventanas para echarse una siesta, mirar a los pájaros, tomar el sol, etc. Y una de las camas que tenemos ya está un poco vieja y como se han caído un par de veces, ya no se fían. Sin embargo esta da sensación de construcción super sólida y de que va a aguantar mucho más. De momento según la he colocado el primer gato se ha subido a investigar.Las cosas que me han gustado, como he dicho ha sido super fácil de montar y da sensación de ser super sólida. Además que la cama que se ve, no es por donde pasan los tubos, hay un plástico por debajo que es por donde pasan los tubos y eso quiere decir que la cama se engancha con cremalleras y se puede lavar por separado. Perfecto para quitarle pelos, olores, etc.Lo único a mejorar es que las instrucciones podrían ser ligeramente más claras sobre todo con respecto a qué tornillo es cuál y con el hecho de que según las instrucciones, el rulo de la cama va contra la ventana, cuando debería ir en el lado contrario (como está en la foto y no en las instrucciones).Pero por lo demás, muy recomendable, esperemos que aguante tanto como parece que puede aguantar =D

   The cat window perch is of excellent quality and easy to assemble. The outer cover, equipped with a zipper, is a fantastic feature as it can be easily removed and washed, ensuring cleanliness. The price is very attractive, making it a great value. The only downside is that it might not fit every window, so it’s important to check compatibility with your window before purchasing. Overall, I highly recommend it for creating a cozy spot for your cat to enjoy the view.

   This cat window shelf is easy to assemble and simple to setup.There are no actual wall mounts. There are little L-shaped brackets that sit into a window runner and the ledge support is easily adjustable to many widths.The top mat zippers onto the support mat and can be removed for laundering.Overall, well-designed product.
