Great High Quality Firm Steps!!
Great foam steps. I have 4 dachshunds so I have steps throughout the house. I needed a taller set as I have one dog that is jumping off the sofa. These steps are firm, come with the cover already on it. Expanded 99% upon opening and the rest of the way over next few hours. I am 100% pleased with my purchase and if I need another set will be ordering again. I ordered the 5 step ramp

Shallow stairs are perfect for geriatric pup
These are a set of nice quality stairs for the price. Light weight but sturdy enough for a small or medium sized dog to use. There are apparently two versions of this product – the 3 stair model (which we did not get) that you can also configure into a ramp, and the 4-5 stair model which is a solid, single piece of foam so there is not a ramp option. I kind of wanted the ramp version so I could have options, but the stairs on the 4-stair version are so shallow that it hasn’t caused my older Chihuahua any difficulty. The cover does come off to wash, but it’s a little bit of a struggle to get it back on. Overall, however, I really like this product.

Amazing for our injured cat
I apologize now if this is long, I just feel like I have to tell the story of a little stray, Cinnamon, & how these stairs helped him out.We have a lot of stray kitties near us. We had just fostered a group of 4 from birth to adoption at 14wks, plus mom, who we still had, when a group of 3 older kittens showed up in our yard. We were feeding them & trying to make friends, when one showed up limping severely. Thank goodness he was the friendliest, cause we were able to nap him & get him to the vet. Poor guy broke his femor, badly. He got it wrapped up well to prevent shifting, scheduled for surgery the next week at a different vet that could do the plating & pins he needed (we knew that was gonna hurt $$$) & went home on meds. We were told it might not be repairable & could need amputation instead, but they wouldn’t know till day of. I’ve rescued cats for years & they do well with 3 legs, young ones adapt very quickly, but it’s still so sad.I knew recovery would take time after the surgery & got our guest room all ready. Our momma cat, Lil Bit, kept him company, since he obviously couldn’t go back out with him siblings. We took him out in a carrier to show them he was ok.The day of his leg surgery he was also scheduled to be neutered. We also took Lil Bit the same day to be spayed, didn’t need her getting pregnant again. They vet was feeling his leg after they shaved it & realized it was healing pretty well. She got more X-rays & sure enough he was. The vet was pretty shocked herself. I call it Kitty Cat Magic. They are amazing healers, especially younger cats that are still growing. His body was knitting broken pieces of bone back together so quickly, & correctly, that the vet said surgery probably was not necessary. We would let him heal for 6-8 weeks, on pain meds to keep him calm & pain free, prevent running & jumping & pray his body healed. Now, pain or not, an 8 month old cat just does not want to sit still. They want to play! Thank goodness Lil Bit was in there recovering with him, cause he loves her & it gave him a friend. She has stayed near him for over 4 weeks now & rarely cries to go outside or roam about. She has decided to mother him. The problem was she could still jump up on the bed, window sill, etc., but the vet specifically told us he was not to do those things. The meds helped slow him down, but at 8mos old he’s basically a 14 year old teenager…. They don’t listen. 🤷If you don’t care about the kitty story just read from her down…..Enter these stairs!!I had patient proofed the room as best as I could, added lots of soft beds, but these stairs have helped a ton. They were easy to unpackage. We have the version with 4 steps, so I didn’t have to zip the 2 halves together. I literally just opened the vacuum sealed package & poof…..full set of stairs. The foam is firm. I can sit on these things & they don’t squish much. There is a zipper to remove the cover if you want to wash it. I haven’t done this yet, just have not needed to, but the zipper moves smoothly. I like the curved shape of the stairs themselves as well, it means sore, injured or arthritic pets don’t have to lift their feet as high to take each stop. They won’t have paws getting caught on the stairs lip. It’s really a smart design.I find the fabric of the cover very easy to vacuum cat hair off of too. I appreciate that it’s textured & not smooth. It lets the cats dig their claws in a bit if necessary, or just ensures their paw pads don’t slip or anything. It would be the same with small or older dogs, the fabric offers extra grip. The grey even matches the decor in the room as a bonus. It has stood up to cat claws; even though they have multiple scratching pads & posts, they still use the stairs too. I can’t tell at all.I have an area rug next to the bed in the guest room & the stairs are on that. The stairs don’t slide or move when the cats use them at all on the rug. I’m not sure if they would on tile, vinyl or wood though. You might want to add one of those carpet suction pads that sticks via suction not adhesive so it prevents sliding, but isn’t permanent. It’s so sweet to see them snuggling together up on the bed knowing Cinnamon didn’t hurt himself hopping up there to be next to Lil Bit. It’s a tall bed. They both enjoy the stairs & started using them right away. Because of where they are positioned at the top of the bed, Cinnamon can use them to get on the bed, or to get to the window sill & sun himself. He had wanted to do that so badly & I had added a step stool for him, but it still meant a small jump. The stairs are much better. The vet told us because of how the break shifted, he might always have a limp, but after healing for a month it’s almost non-existent. I can’t believe the progress he’s made. I’m thankful for tools, like these little stairs, that helped prevent setbacks in his recovery. I think they also have helped to keep his muscles strong to support the bone in his back leg. These stairs can even be flipped onto the smaller edge. It makes the stairs steeper, but if you have a cat that isn’t jumping so well anymore, but wants to reach a higher perch, turning the stairs might allow them to still climb up without the jump. I know most cats would have no problem scaling the stairs in the steeper position as well, & it could help with arthritis in older cats. These are perfect for older cats or dogs, cats or dogs with injuries or arthritis, or just small dogs. They are priced reasonably & are made durable enough to be around a long time.

The little guy is happy and mighty proud now!
These tall soft gentle stairs made for one happy pup at our house! I have a higher than usual bed and two pugs who like to sleep on that bed (on the bedspread) with me every night. I had found a set of four hard plastic steps that allowed my 2 year old pug to access the bed independently, but the 6-month-old puppy (who joined the family a month ago) found the hard plastic steps just too big to manage, resulting in his having to be lifted up to the bed whenever the adult dog was on it. That wasn’t so bad except for the frequent nighttime ups and downs when the puppy would jump down to get a drink, visit the potty, or just follow the big dog when he decided to jump down. Then it was up to me to leave my warm bed and provide elevator service each time. When I spotted this tall set of five soft rounded steps, I knew it was just what the puppy needed. He mastered it immediately–I wish I had filmed his first solo trip up the new steps onto the bed–he was so elated and he jumped and pranced all over the bedspread and the bigger dog that was already lounging smugly upon it. The pup has enjoyed independence every night since then, getting his own drink or going to the potty and getting back into bed by himself very proudly. (The photos show him shooting up the stairs in a flash and looking back for a “good dog” which he always earns.) The steps are soft but sturdy amd stay in place for stability on the carpeting. I’ve ordered a washable cover for it to make sure it lasts. I know it won’t be long until the little guy is able to use the bigger steps, but I will store these nice soft easy steps for the time when my dear little friends are getting older and need the more accessible steps again. I can maintain their independence just a little longer, thanks to these lovely steps!
