    Good Economical Option
OK, so this is basically a wire animal crate with a fitted waterproof cover, and a warming pad. Simple, but it does the job. Honestly, it’s cheaper to buy it this way than to buy all the individual components, which I thought about doing. We live in Indiana with two outdoor cats, and I was worried about them freezing once the cold weather hit. This works really well, and the cats love it. Super easy to set up. Took all of five minutes. We haven’t had this long, so can’t speak to durability, but we’ll see.Warning to those with more than one cat though: our cats are good friends, and have been together since birth, but they absolutely refused to share this cat house. We ended up having to buy a second one, and put them side-by-side with the center door flaps removed to make a cat “condo” of sorts. It was 17° and lightly snowing this morning when I got up, and found one cat happily inside each house. They came out to eat breakfast and went right back in.Point being, I definitely recommend this product if you don’t want to invest in a more expensive, permanent cat house.

    Great for my outdoor possums.
I do wildlife rescue and needed something sturdy for my possums. It’s a nice size. Very sturdy. Very weatherproof holds heat. Well just a overall great product would highly recommend.

    May need to buy more!
Cats love it! I have three feral cats that eat in my barn. During the winter I have been leaving them a heating pad to sit on. They are super skittish and will not come around humans at all. The only way we ever see these cats is on our camera that we have in the barn. They come in at night to eat and then they leave. They live under the house in our other property we have next door that we are renovating.Lately we have two possums that have made their way in as well. I originally had one barn cat that I was feeding. And he has been eating in the barn for four years now. We’ve tried to trap him and he’s impossible. Then two others started showing up about a year ago. They don’t come as often but this time of year I seem to catch them on the camera a bit more. None of these cats will enter a live trap. Which makes them impossible to catch. So I was a little weary that any of them would use this house. Since they would be going into a closed structure. But they absolutely love it! It’s first come first serve whoever gets there first gets to sit in it all night. These cats and the possums don’t seem to fight. They just take turns. I left the front window off the front of this, because I didn’t think they’d enter it if it had the clear curtain on the front. I might try the curtain now that they are used to it….. It may deter the possums from going in there. I prefer to just be feeding one cat in there.I would recommend this cage. It is easy enough to clean. It’s just a cage with the liner on the outside. And heated pad on the bottom. One of these three cats has sprayed in the cat house. It stunk sooo bad! Good part is everything can be watched and put back on easily.I’m hoping if they get used to going in here I can eventually trick them into a live trap.Finger crossed! In the meantime it makes me happy they have a warm space. They will roll around and play with the toys I left inside. But they run as fast as they can if we ever open the barn door and come in. Scaredy cats! They have no idea the good life they could be having.

    Great purchase
Bought this for a feral cat who showed up on my front porch. Easy to put together, and after placing a little cat nip inside, the cat started to use it with no issues. Internal heat pad great for winter months.

So happy my feral cats actually use this outdoor cat house
I bought this outdoor cat house hoping that the couple friendly feral cats that have declared my backyard their “home” would actually use it during the cold winter months. I appreaciate that it has two doors with clear plastic weather panels that attach with Velcro. At first I left them off and once they began going inside, I attached just one panel and then later attached the second. I also cut additional strips into the plastic flaps to make them easier to walk into and out of like walk in cooler plastic flaps. My kitties loved the heating pad and used this cat house all winter. I was so happy how quickly they became comfortable enough to seek shelter in their new cat house.

Easy to put together, smaller than I thought
This was easy to put together. I was wanting this for two feral cats that live in my garage. It seems that Mama cat has taken it over and refuses to share with Dad. Dad is rather large. I think the picture is a bit misleading…..the cats pictured seem to be kitten sized.
